These days, Google Algorithm changed a lot. Its not working like before. You should be extremely careful on how you build the backlink profile, and anchors.

if you use only comercial anchors, google will see this, and it will penalize you 100%.

The recipe that works the best, is to use 30% brand anchors, 30% informative anchors, 30% comercial anchors, and 10% anchors like "click here","read more", etc.

I have aprox 10 years of experience in iGaming SEO, i saw tons of sites that got penalized.

Content is king these days, if you have good content, well written, IT WILL RANK!

Of course there are other factors, like website speed, website design, EEAT, and many more, but content is the main factor.

Publish good articles regularly ( 1-2 per day minimum ), but start slow if its a new site. Because google will see if you start publishing 100 posts daily.

Make sure to check a site's organic keywords and outgoing anchor links before buying.

Are they actually ranking on organic search terms, or just manipulating traffic?
Are they selling links aggressively, with tons of outgoing anchors to unrelated sites?
Will your post be indexed on the homepage, or buried in a subcategory?

These things matter and can make a big difference in value, always worth clarifying upfront.

Backlinks are still important, but it seems with the latest updates they are not giving that much power any more. Most important is what you have on the site.. I would not use any services, direct and quality link buildup long term is the way to go. How much juice does these Reddit etc give?
