I am going for, of course, Germany BECAUSE they lost against Serbia. Germany has lost only 4 times in the first round, and then they became world champs twice and runners up twice! So their defeat yesterday was a good omen for them.

Congratulations to Spain for their hard fought victory over Netherlands who could have won the cup as well. But, Spain are the world's best national football team at the moment.

Spain played better but the Dutch had the better chances and should have scored a couple of times. I guess Robben will have nightmares for the rest of his life.

I think both teams had great chances to score and in the end it was a well deserved victory. Robben usually is very effective but that day Casillas just read him too well. Maybe it was just plain luck. In any event, The Netherlands should have been shown at least 2 red cards in the first half so I guess it was only fair that they lost to the better and fairer team in the end.

The person who should have nightmares about the final is the referee and his team, in my opinion.

No wonder that the octopus did not favour the Dutch. While the Spanish Prime Minister was ready to send bodyguards to protect Paul, the Dutch called him a great bluff.
Perhaps the Netherlands can win the next WC when Paul will be no more.
