Why are 150 pages indexed, but only 19 in the search?

My site https://shostkamuseum.org.ua/ has a very problematic site indexing. Google didn't want to index a lot of links from the site. Internal page linking is complete. I added pages for indexing through a special bot in Telegram. They were indexed, even the Google Search Console showed indexed pages. But when I enter the operator "site" in the search, it shows only 19 pages.
Why do other sites show all pages in the index. Needless to say, the "site:" operator is not meant to view indexed links.

Before that, the site was hosted on a different domain. I soon found out that the domain was a spam resource and was under the filter. Then I moved to another domain, but since there was a lot of content and links, I made a 301 redirect so that Google didn't think I was stealing the text.
Could bans on the old domain go to my new domain through a 301 redirect?

Well we know that expired domains that have good juice pass that on to the new domain if 301'd...so logically (and I personally don't have direct experience) you would think that domains with penalties will similarly pass on bad signals to a new domain.

However, that's not necessarily the case here. You have some indexed....it might be just a problem with Google indexing (and there have been known problems with that for a number of months (again, going by what I've read rather than direct experience).

Maybe try an indexer like OmegaIndexer. 2c per URL indexing request, minimum deposit $20.

How long has it been like that? In some cases Google does have various unexpected indexing issues, if it hasn't been that long I wouldn't worry and just give it some time.

I think you have the issue because of penalty with the previous website.

But of course it's not only one suggestion.

Do you have Search Console account? Check it for penalty alerts.
And if that's an issue try to fix them.

Also you need to build more high-quality backlinks to increase metrics and improve indexing.

And as I got it right the domain name is not about gambling..

And also you may try add-url or other tool to speed up indexing.

Yes, the domain name is not related to gambling. Before that, the domain was called icasino7. But the site was poorly indexed on it and I decided to move to another domain, which was definitely not banned by Google. Domain from some former museum.

From my experience, google filter/penalties do not pass to new domains after redirects
By the way, do you see those "unindexed" urls in console "Links -> Top linked pages"? mobile usability report? inbound links to those pages in gsc tool?

Google's "site:" query has not returned full or current indexing results for many years.

Yes I agree Michael, I had not realized how bad query's such as site: link: and some others had become until a few people had pointed that fact out a few months back.

It does work to a lesser degree for some basics. Interesting to note that MOZ and Hrefs state in articles the last 6 months or some still work.

Well i think that there are many ways to solve that problem. Maybe try using better linking works in the long run. Nothing could go wrong when it comes to the app used but maybe try putting it in an installed one like ms word or anything like that. Going online sometimes has its downsides and this is why it is important to keep track of the record that we write for the online content. Linking works well if you could tweak the keywords well. Hi! You can try to register a new domain, without history, but it will be harder to promote in Google. Are you okay with technical optimization of pages? No forbidden tags? If there are problems with indexing through the Google search console, you can use the API for webmasters, or write a script on Node.js.

I am having a similar problem with a very good site. The trick is to just get some legitimate traffic first. Buy some ads, do a blog post on a popular site, post in a forum offering something of value to others. It takes time but evenutally you'll start getting searches pop up in search console.

Just wait a bit, I have covered this issue several time on forum, some of my sites got indexed in 2-3 months. Google indexing bots are having troubles for sure.

1. Check the technical problems of the pages themselves
2. Check the internal links to them on your site
3. 2-3 external links
4. A couple of social signals
5. Ping them in the search console as well.

Try the operator "site:" from a new incognito window in your browser (or alternatively clear all your cookies from your regular browser). I guess then you will see all your pages. By the way, the Search Console/Analytics are the authoritative sources of information. I would better worry in your case if the Search Console wasn't show all your pages as indexed. Then there is a problem, but then, at the same report you can investigate the pages that are not indexed together with a reason for it.
