Default Why Affilliate offers not converting?

    Hi everyone,

I am looking for some advice if possible. I have a football betting prediction website called https://footyguru365.com/ and our affilliate offers are just not converting hardly at all.

A majority of our traffic comes from Kenya and Nigeria however we are starting to see growth with UK Traffic.

Is the reason we are not seeing the traffic convert is because majority is from Africa or is there another reason. Any advice would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Adam

Moved this to the review section for better exposure since the topic is more about reviewing the specifics of the site and how to improve, as well as making the link clickable.conversion.

You may get some tips and suggestions that will help.

    Hello Adam,

First of all, I can see the majority of your traffic comes from several African countries while you are pushing brands popular in the UK such as Bet UK.
Defining who your main audience is and what they are interested in (as in types of sports) can be a way to go as at the moment, there is a contradiction.
And another noticeable factor missing is a top list where affiliates list a number of brands in a table. Adding it to your main pages can boost a traffic conversion rate.
Hope you will find my advice useful.
    Thanks.

You're targeting betting tips terms, so you're probably getting betting tips traffic. This traffic doesn't convert as well as conversion related keywords.

It's about the intent of the user.

The demographics of the users probably isn't helping either, especially considering that you're promoting mainly UK brands that a lot of the african countries can't sign up to.
onlinegamblingwebsites.com - Formally known as goodbonusguide.

Gambling Domains: Small clear out of some of the domains we've been hoarding on Dan - see the list here. Prices negotiable, and willing to swap for decent links.

Most things have already been mentioned above, but I would still emphasize the fact that those brands you have featured on your website will simply not work for players from Nigeria and other west African countries.
Also tip related keywords don't convert in general as people are looking to find out how to bet rather than where to bet.

I would agree with what the previous comments say on the source of traffic, with a lot from Africa and advertising UK bookies.

However, there seems to be a lot of tipsters on social media, many with several hundreds of thousands of followers. It may just a matter of building your follower base (brand) over the next several years in order to build a bigger community, then start to see conversions. A lot of tipsters also post their tips direct to social channels (sometimes with pre-loaded bets linking to bookmakers), I would imagine your customer base will be casual/recreational bettors, and not professional punters, so many won't bother to visit websites for tips, when they can get all their tips on social channels.

I did highlight a couple of things from a screenshot of your websites homepage, with red boxes. I like the look and feel of the website, however, the link for 77F in the first red box says the site can't be reached, and the image below of 'football betting algorithm' - I don't see much value on having this image on the homepage and takes up valuable/impactful spaces. I would personally ditch the large banner and the blackboard image and have your tips featured there.

Also I did notice several links to Betminer, I don't know if this is your business also, however, the site is not secure, not having HTTPS, this I think will reflect badly from a trust issue for your site.

As it as been already mentioned, you should target different keywords than those related to betting tips. To be sure to convert with your affiliate offers you should create pages including lists of your affiliate brands to target those users who are looking for where to bet rather than how to bet.
