Being one of the main culprits firstly let me apologize to all members and staff for my behaviour these past few months.

Secondly many of you know how out of character that kind of behaviour is for me and for those of you that barely know me I just wanna say it is.

My behaviour had nothing to do with financial stress more defending myself and what had been said against me.

I agree with The Pokerkeep regards members joining just to cause trouble shouldnt be allowed and would agree even if 3 such members never had a witch hunt out for me.

Thanks for starting the thread Heather, this is something that has been bothering me for a while as well.

Jack, great image of the flamethower....haven't played with one of those for many years....LOL

What bothers me the most about some of the recent threads that have gotten out of control, is the fact that often many of these flame wars have often been powered by personal issues between people that started in flame wars and issues between them at other forums.....

Stop bringing your fights from other forums here! If you have a beef with someone at another forum, take care of it there, and if they or you no longer have access to that forum, take care of it in private....or let it go, it doesn't belong here.

As far as issues that people are passionate about, that can and should be discussed here, please understand that often, because many of us are so passionate about this business, the discussions can become heated.

Sometimes we all need to stop and think a bit and remember that we will not always agree with others and that it's ok not to agree, but each and everyone has a right to post their opinions, and the right to do so WITHOUT being flamed for it.

And as far as the personal attacks, THEY DO NOT BELONG HERE!!

I am wondering what could be a concrete output of this thread. Although a thread in a discussion forum need not have any concrete output, I think this thread could have two such outcomes:
    1. That the agressive 'fighters' engaged in personal attacks should be banned. My vote would be in this case a clear NO because IMO in a 'fighting among GPWA members' at least two persons are always involved. So both will have to be banned. If we follow this path, we don't know where it will lead us to.
    2. The combatants we are referring to hopefully read this thread and start reflecting on why they fight, consequently mellowing down a bit. That would be the best result of this discussion I can think of.
