Just promote offshore brands in a legal way, much better service.

    UKGC and Gamstop don't care.

Shocking, a company that you could send 10s of 1000s in traffic to and receive nothing for it (like Ladbrokes and Bet365). And funny enough, Mr Green which used to be a great brand, suddenly stopped converting when William Hill got their ****** mitts on it.

You can't "legally" promote offshore brands, as it is illegal to promote them in the UK to UK players. Although I 100% agree with you, I would not waste my time on anything that the UKGC parasites "regulate".

    Clause 10.1 :

"10. TERM AND TERMINATION10.1 This Agreement will come into force when the Affiliate’s application to join the WHAP is Approved and shall continue in force unless and until either the Affiliate or WH notifies the other in writing (via email shall suffice) that it wishes to terminate this Agreement, in which circumstances this Agreement will terminate with immediate effect (“Term”)."

We all know this is here for the benefit of the WH and by including the affiliate having "rights to terminate" is irrelevant, zero benefit for the affiliate to terminate. It really is unfair for affiliates, I have only worked with them for a short period of time, but I really feel for loyal affiliates who have been introducing customers consistently for many years, and some for as many as 20+ years!

I believe this really is linked to the sale of WH to 888, and they are in a way conducting business like Stars Grp now as previously mentioned in this thread.

I really do feel that there may possibly be an unfair contract legal case here for affiliates in terms of the stopping of future earnings.

But, I would like to see affiliates pull together (in a co-ordinated way), to inform the public of rogue practices at WH.

Yes we spoke with our lawyer, a Mr C. Gptfour, and he seems to think we may have a case on the basis of bad faith and unfair dealing by William Hill, despite what the terms say.

I agree with your sentiments, but nobody is going to organise a class action and get affected affiliates together. I'd like to think it could happen, but this has happenned so many times in the past and sadly nothing has ever got past the "its a great idea" stage.

All it takes is a lawyer to see that it's an easily winnable case and they will get the ball rolling..

Won't happen. Yes, the case is winnable. Yes, the ever-changing terms (particularly the 'we can change this at any time' and 'end this at any time') are not defendable in court. Yes, a case could win. However this is the millionth time this has happened and no affiliate, however well intentioned, has been able to land any meaningful blow. That is why crooks like William Hill, Sky Bet, Entain and all the other scumbags act this way. They know they'll get away with it.

    ear ....,
We apologise for any confusion caused by our previous communication. It was mistakenly stated that your participation in our affiliate program was terminated in full.
Please note that this termination only applies in part to the William Hill brand for Vegas and Sport in the United Kingdom territory. Your participation in all other brands and markets (including, for the avoidance of doubt, UK Poker, and other territories outside of the UK) remains active.
We thank you for your understanding and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
    Many thanks,
The 888 William Hill Affiliates Team

What has become of this business? Over 20 years ago, you could see the statistics in real-time and receive a 40% commission from net gaming. Today, 50% fees are withheld, and after 2 years, you're kicked out. A very dishonorable business.

Do they keep a few affiliates? Or did everyone get it?

I have never seen such a sham of a communication as today by William Hill! Immediate termination for a UK Brand, and then a follow up email to say sorry for the confusion, it only applies to vegas and sports in the UK, which i would imagine would be around about 99% of their income........

But perhaps they treat their shareholders, employees, players, and business partners better than the affiliates...

Unfortunately, you're terminated, but wait, you still get to clean the toilets...

    I got the email too.
I did not even bothered to open it.
They stole before, they shaved before I stopped promoting them years ago.

I am just surprised that everyone seems to be surprised. Honestly it is incredible. You guys had no idea it is a crook company?

Affiliate marketing is dead. Online gambling is a legacy business. Declining and it will drag down anyone who is betting on it.

Oh yeah, they're making it super enticing to apply . Who wouldn't want to work with them under these conditions? For God's sake, they're laughing in our faces, and the worst part is that they know they can get away with it.
