Default (RESOLVED) Gambling Wages Won't Pay

Gambling Wages refuse to pay us - a registered, limited company - unless we provide personal information. But we're a business! And they knew that when we started working with them. So what's this about?!
This is absurd! They require identification as if we were a player, but we're not players, we're affiliates, providing them with players!!!

    Has anyone else experienced this?

It's been a year that we've been trying to get our deserved commission. All this while they are holding our funds hostage.

Your feedback - and joint outrage - are welcome.

I think only one program ever asked/insisted that I send them some ID, they wanted a copy of my passport

    No chance.

    Default About your Payment

    Dear ocreditor:

We have not refused to pay you, in fact have already wired money to you that your bank rejected.

We did not ask for identification papers. We only asked what the moneybookers account holder name was.

When your account was opened you had a different company name and different contact person. We feel asking for the name on an account we are sending money to is not out of line but apologize that asking caused you outrage.

We have already made your payment via moneybookers.

    Cheers

    Cindy Greco

Now you know how the players that you send to them feel when they don't get paid either.

    Let's explore this.

It's getting a little old that GW is the bad guy when there are sooo many others that are worse. As far as I know, GW has paid all the players and I would like to know who they haven't paid.

The reps came around to find out who needs to be paid and I took advantage of that and all the players I know are paid. If you know someone who needs to be paid please say.

I am considering promoting these guys again. My sticking point is that it takes 3 weeks for players to be paid. But they ARE paid. I begged for that to be changed but they cannot. Hence I haven't promoted them.

For me, the 'good guys' keep changing their terms and making it hard on affiliates. The good guys are not such good guys and GW at least pays. I think it's more propaganda that GW is off limits in some eyes.

How long has GW been around? Longer than most. How much time have I wasted promoting RTG's that fade into the sunset and left players and affys in the dust. One after the other. How much have we lost to rtg's that everyone says we 'must' promote! I shudder to think the money I've lost listening to others.

    GW has staying power.

Many affys and players have returned to GW. At least you know what you get, from a US player and affy.

I've been around the block a few times in this biz. Unfortunately lol. Your response is a bit cryptic?

Besides the history of GW, please explain and let us know what the currant issue is with GW?

I'm asking because the currant state of affairs with other programs is shameful and I want to know why GW is worse. Apparently Muppet is not willing to share but is willing to post.

I would like to know any issues with Gambling Wages that have not been addressed. Not a blanket warning. Let's get specific. Just sayin.

LOL "besides the history" .. that's an almighty huge and broad sweep-it-all-under-the-carpet statement considering the operation is owned by a fraudster, they have ripped off countless players and affiliates in the past, not to mention the player who was beaten and had his life threatened after he dropped in to their office to enquire about his payment.

It's akin to "besides the history of Charles Manson, please explain why we shouldn't just let him out of jail tomorrow".

But hey as long as they have "turned it all around" (again for the 5th time) and have paid people for a few months and they pay you, its all ok right? Take a moment to think about why they might still be in business despite many of the competition failing. It isn't because they are honest hard working casino operators who have mastered the art of customer service and player satisfaction is it? Leopards don't change their spots. You would be a fool to give an operator like this another chance.

Anyway I'm not your mother and you can do what you like so like I said, good luck to you. I hope your players get paid when they win and you earn your all important commission (keep an eye on the manager credits figures in your stats btw).

Who knows they might end up so good that just like the outstanding Affiliates United they could win the coveted best affiliate program award next year.

Thanks. Nice to have some real talk.

It's what USA players and affs are looking at. And all affiliates who chose to go back to GW, in the hurtful times that we are facing. Those of us that are still here anyway. Also why affilates like myself consider it.

Compared to other programs however, GW is not so bad! What does that tell us. Look at AGD for all the terms changes. Quotas, deductions etc. It's amazing anyone still makes a living.

I haven't but many affys we all know are promoting GW. Consider the alternatives.

    Shocking effect doesn't work.

That doesn't work here with propaganda. No bullying. Or belittling.

    Seriously. Charles Manson????

If you have a case of someone that is owed money please say so.

    The comparison is apt.

Once again, good luck and don't say you weren't warned.

Because of their past Gambling Wages is an easy target. It is hard to erase the past and a lot will never forget the history and that is their right. However, I have to give credit where credit is due, in the last few years they have been taking care of business. Complaints that do arise are handled immediately. Right now Gambling Wages is being responsive to the players and affiliates, that's what I care about.

I tend to agree with muppet on this one.

Snakes don't grow legs... The owner of GW thinks he's a gangster and acts like it.

They may pay right now because it is in their interest to do so, but as soon as there is a rough spot or an opportunity for more profit for them, don't look for them to hold up their end of ANY deal you have.

As we have all said... this business is all about Trust.... Do you REALLY trust these guys?

Added - they pay after ONE YEAR and a single public post... think about it.

Your not mistaken... They were the ones.

As far as I know there are still a bunch of players(big winners) that NEVER got paid by these guys, I think the players just gave up trying to get their money after a few years.
