Hello
I have gotten the first affiliates in different programs.
Most users are winners. I have negative commission in most of them.
what should i expect? is it because of a small sample of users yet?
thanks

There are many many variables that will affect the answer to that.
Is it sports or casino?
What operator(s)?
What is your target market?
What time frame is the sampling of players so far?
What are the predominant keywords used to generate the signups?
There are likely many more questions others might have to help answer your questions, and also make suggestions that might help you improve results.

most of the users got bonuses
are you splitting the minus between bonuses and winners?
We are all bloodsucking ticks, hungry, devious

THis is not the best situation . I will share my 2 cents :
- sports users - if they abuse sports bonuses and make fast witdrawals after they redeemed and covered all the conditions - this is the works scenario.
- i do doubt that we speak about casino players - if we do not speak about any free spins or bonuses, but they are not that easy to be redeemed.
- which GEO"S and bookies we speak about ?
- Be informed that there are programs , who cut a lot- shave affiliates and do have very high admin fees up to 50 %.
- As Sherlock said, you should understand from and how the minuses occured. Many of the programs give the minus of bonuses to affiliates as whole sume, not splitting the percentage.
- You can also give some example numbers of what players in each program caused you big trouble.
- Bear in mind that there are betting syndicates - and if you are a victim of them , just close those affiliate accounts . You will be seeing minuses for life-time.

You can ask your affiliate manager about some of the winning players. I would not ask about more than 1 or 2 players because it will improve your chances of getting a detailed response.
Basically ask your AM to help you understand how certain players are winning so much. Maybe find out what games they play, what bonuses they took, etc. You can then choose to use that information for your own marketing purposes.
Also, asking about the big negative players may help scare the AM if they are shaving, and either get them to stop, or to reduce the amount they shave so as to not set off alarms.

Just make a registration yourself at the bookie lose first in sports and then in casino and see what theu calculate.
To ask affiliate managers regaridng players is "terra incognita"- they will say you barely nothing.
If the program does not have any amin fees, it will be easy to calculate it all, but you have to ask specific questions.
Also bear in mind that you can share these "programs" . If you are affiliate at some programs, at least some or one of them should be on plus.
I hope all that was helpful

When it comes to gambling. Time is on the side of the house and the affiliate. The key to lasting in this business is to have several affiliate programs going at once. I would say that the minimum for me to feel comfortable is five different affiliate programs. I would expect at least one if not two could have a negative commission for a month or two but riding it out over the course of a year will give you an idea of how profitable that affiliate program will be.
What do you mean?
How do you split between bonuses and winners?
How will this affect the affiliate?
Sports is not my main niche, but I would think that punters looking for statistics are less likely to be huge losers than those not looking for statistics. The act of simply searching for relevant data means they will likely bet better, in aggregate, even if still losing players on the whole. As such, variance will increase with this type of player...
That is my analysis at least![]()

Hmmm not so sure of that, I make just as bad of emotional betting decisions after looking at the stats as I do before (I just tell myself I am justifying it more)....LOL

When you are new to the business you notice deposits and no earnings.. you immediately think something is up.. but truth is unless you are lucky to get a high roller most earnings will be negative or low until you have a decent base,m the player usually becomes profitable after the 2nd plus deposit , if you have plenty of active players and they are all winning then would be the time to dig in.

Here comes the theme with "big fish"or players who are ok to deposit and play big. If not having few or more in your affiliate acount, you can not expect miracles from players who have between 10-50 $ to spend just like that.
