This happened in the New Castle Casino, OK at a Liberty 7 Slot machine.

She started with $1.25 and within moments hit a supposed jackpot before the machine proceeded to shut down.

She does have a screen shot picture from her phone and has hired an attorney to fight for the payout.

Clearly a brick and mortar casino that refuses a big win like this, and the amount of local news coverage this is likely generating, could have a serious impact on the traffic that they would need to rely on from the towns and cities within an easy driving distance.

Hopefully she realizes that being robbed by 8M can be the life-changing experience (which definitely is not win big from idiotic action). Her chances for decent life are much bigger now. So gambling can be useful sometimes.

It's odd that the slot machine wasn't "malfunctioning" and the casino was happy to take the woman's money when the woman was losing, but when she finally won, it was suddenly a case of, "We're sorry, but that was a machine malfunction, and as such we are unable to pay you the money."

Looked this up and seems like it is a progressive jackpot obviously for a big win like that. The casino should have the money allocated so not like they are taking a big hit unless they want her to gamble it all back to the house.
