Wordpress Blog Banned - Why?

Hi,

I had a Wordpress blog. I had been blogging my knowledge and latest information through it for quite sometime (around 4 months). However, it got banned. I had posted around 20 blogs there. I also mailed them but didn't get a response from Wordpress (It is almost a month from now since I lodged the complaint). I hope I get an answer from this forum.

Sorry to hear that. I had created 3 but none of them is still live. So to me, it is just waste of my time.

Thanks for your reply... It's a great relief to know that other people are also getting the same problem. But the fact is that the Wordpress site has a better look and easy to work with and customize. I really got hurt when my blog got banned without any reason. I was not doing anything wrong or something like that. I really wanna know about it. Can anyone else tell me about this UNEXPECTED BANNING of my WORDPRESS BLOG? Please help.

same thing happened to me last month, 8 wordpress.com blogs and one that i was fowarding to my own url got dumped, they let you export the content so you can put it up elsewhere, but its a pain in the ass. the thing is if your using wordpress.com blogs and you have affiliate links or if your using them to build links to your money sites then you are violating their terms and they will close you down. The mistake i made was to use an automated service to post all my stuff from my main self hosted wordpress sites to my blogs, and wordpress must have picked up on this quick, got flagged, whatever, and closed me down. The real problem is my money sites where/kinda still are linked to the wordpress blogs via API keys for various plugins like the stats plugin and i was, and still am a little worried about negative seo effects from this. You cant delete your wordpress.com profile you see, they just delete the blogs. so iv tried to cut all the links from my side to wordpress.com and hope for the best

If you host your WP at wordpress.com with address.wordpress.com and promoting igaming, though luck..
WP don't allow gambling ads/promotions.

Set up your own domain and hosting then use WP as a standalone installation.

But what should I do now? to get back the blog... it was highly popular among my target audience. I want my blog back. If I remove the external links then will it be easy to get back the blog?

Any help is appreciated.

you should still be able to log in and export the content, go to tools or settings and export, then get a self hosted wp installation and import all the content into that, no other way i can see, wordpress.com wont give you a second chance

I cant even log into mine. Says the account is suspended whick sucks cause I did put some time into my wordpress blogs. Oh well guess we just have to pay for hosting now!

The best thing to do. Is migrating to another hosting company preferably GoDaddy.com otherwise they will always do that.

You should better create your own website if you are blogging constantly and writing good content. It may cost a little but then you have guarantees and ability to change everything just like you want.
