I'll be out there reporting on the WSOP from July 5-July 11. Snooptodd is out there right now covering the H.O.R.S.E. tournament. And McLane39 will be out there at the same time I am covering the Main Event. If anyone wants to meet up with any of us, let us know. How is everyone else covering the WSOP? Are you using press releases for media information from the WSOP? Are you linking to coverage? What role is the WSOP playing on your sites?
have fun all. i wish we were coming, but things are simply too busy right now. maybe next year we can make it...

Taking news items as I find them off the net and reporting them if they're news-worthy and putting into a WSOP blog stream.

But to be honest - no one really cares when Mr nobody wins an event and 90% of the winners are unknowns - so items are appearing only every couple of days.
It's funny to see the pros breast beating about how the 50K HORSE event is the REAL World Championship now ... as they're the only ones able to afford the buy-in.
This WSOP has underlined the fact that the only thing that REALLY seperates the big TV names from the other players is the size of their bankroll.

I found it way to difficult to do right now. I have so many other things that are priority "to do" list that it was just taking alot of time to keep up with it all.
My only regret is the amount of visiotors that this could bring. I had a plan but what do you do, start a new project without completing previous ones, or complete tasks and than go from there.
I will be in Vegas baby...doing everything I can to avoid my reporting duties.
Hey Gooner,
I like your blog. I agree that most people are not interested in unknowns winning tournaments. That's why we've focused our reporting on features -- interviews with the WSOP commissioner Jeffrey Pollack, strategy pieces, and things like how the WSOP bracelets are made. We're still reporting results, but we're focusing most of our energies on the "other" WSOP stories.
Myself and one of our country managers will be in attendance from the 27th of June through the 2nd of July, taking meetings attending events and rail-birding the action.
Hope to see many of you there!!
