"Under the new rules, not only can players be disqualified from the WSOP for testing positive for COVID-19, but also they will be eliminated if they have been found to have been in proximity with any player found to have the virus during the multi-day tournament.

Also of major concern is if one or more tournament dealers (who traverse many tables during a working-day) subsequently test positive for COVID – this would have a catastrophic effect on the tournament series.
The WSOP grants itself rights to kick players out of the competition without compensation under this rule, however if the tournament from which are expelled is already “in the money”, you will be awarded the prize money for the position after you in the final payouts."
