The New York Post is reporting that Wynn Resorts is in talks to form a partnership with Zynga.

This partnership just doesn't seem to make sense to Buzzy, considering Wynn is widely considered to be a high-value brand and Zynga is an everyman/play-for-free brand.

The Post also points out other problems ...

While (Zynga CEO) Mark Pincus is waxing poetic about poker, experts said the odds are stacked against the social media upstart, which will need to partner with more than just Wynn to become a major player.

Among the problems: Most of the proposed state legislation would restrict online licenses to those who already are licensed to run a state gaming operation. Wynn only operates in Nevada.
