    Default Your last meal?

Recently I came cross a site recreating peoples last meal requests. Some normal, some lightly bizarre and it intrigued me, you can see it here if you're interested as well.

But it got me thinking, what would be your last meal?

    Mine:
    • Garlic bread with cheese
    • Steak pie with puff pastry, chips and beans
    • Apple crumble and vanilla ice cream

(basically a british pub meal - I have simple tastes)

I'd start off nice and small, with a Ribs and Wing combo, Honey, BBQ & Spicy.

Then I'd have a Chicken Tikka Madras, Garlic Naan, Bombay Potatoes and Chicken Pakora. (With Poppadoms and Pickle tray)

To finish - Treacle Sponge and Custard

Garlic bread with garlic mayonnaise side
24 inch thick base pizza with ham, pineapple, pepperoni, ground beef, olives, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, mixed peppers, small sprinkle of chillis
Jam suet pudding with cream, ice cream, & custard

Well that's tonight's dinner sorted, let's hope it's not my last!

    Interesting.

    Best meal :

Pan seared and then oven roasted duck leg with quartered roast potatoes that have been sitting under the duck. (optional slaw or salad to cut)
With a bottle of Cotes Du Rhone or Chateauneuf du Pape (preferably 4-5 years old).

    Quick meal :
1 piece of battered fish, 1 spring roll, 1/2 scoop of chips.
With a large glass of current vintage New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc

(I don't need desert or entrees).

There is nothing wrong with a big dirty kebab.

Glad I'm not alone when I have pineapple on my pizza.

I really don't know what my last meal would be. Maybe a combination of the things I love.

Napoli style margarita pizza with kalamata olives.
Beef tacos - home made by me of course because they are never as good when I eat them out.
Vietnamese prawn rice paper rolls, spring rolls, and chicken roti, but they have to be from my favourite restaurant where I grew up.
Hand cut hot chips with chicken salt from a fish and chip shop.
    Lamb souvlaki with fresh tzatziki
    Wagyu biltong
Baskin and Robbins Mint Choc Chip Icecream

If it was my last meal I would find a 4th stomach to fit all of that in.
    And now I'm hungry.

A kebab is just what you need after a drinking session haha.

I've just been eating junk food because I am in a motel.

If the question was what meal would you like to eat, it would have to be this:

Gosh that looks good!! Anyone tried it?

Edit: Okay I completely misunderstood the question. I was thinking you meant the last meal you had.

Da Mario in Rosebery. My friend owns the place and I'm there every other weekend.

You won't be disappointed if you like that style of pizza. It was voted the best pizza in Sydney not long ago.

Part of a review from TripAdvisor

My friends and family hyped this place up so much that I went in expecting to be outright disappointed. I'm a pizza addict. Pizza is my religion, my true love, my soul fuel.. so I'm pretty fussy.

This.. this was a religious experience. Without a single doubt, it's the best pizza I've had in my life. Perfect bubbled crust with nice charring, flawless amount of chewiness, and just the right amount of toppings to add to the experience, and not overpower the base.

We tried 5 different pizzas, chosen randomly, and every single one of them was faultless.

Pretty much what I'd say. It's like heaven in your mouth.

i'd go for the Chinese all you can eat buffet. Delay as long as possible. Eat until you comatose yourself and then you won't feel a thing.

Bubbled crust with nice char. Sounds like a winner.

I was impressed with Via Napoli. The crust isn't as thin as you'd expect but it melts in your mouth. Although a friend seems to think it's soggy lol.

In Melbourne, you need to check out Gradi at Crown if you haven't already. Damn that pizza is out of this world.

Da Mario shits all over Via Napoli. Not even close tbh.

I'm in Melbourne every now and then so I'll check it out next time.

Edit: Da Mario has a pop up somewhere at the moment. I think it's at Randwick Race Track. The pizzas are slightly smaller and a bit cheaper but you can see what they are like there if you happen to be there one weekend. I think there are races on there this Sat if I'm not mistaken.

You mean the last meal request before you face the firing squad?

    1) souvlaki kotopoulo

    2) galaktoboureko
