Youtube's Right To Monetize
I see YouTube are adding this to their T&Cs, like it or not:
YouTube’s right to monetize: YouTube has the right to monetize all content on the platform and ads may appear on videos from channels not in the YouTube Partner Program.
So even if you don't currently run ads on your videos, they may appear anyway.

I don't understand why some people (who use YT for FREE) complain about them monetizing their own product(s). No one is holding a gun to your head. If you don't like the rules, then don't use YT. Simple!

Compliance: a code word for control
---
Do the right thing, even when no one is looking. It's called integrity.
---
It's your right to be treated honestly: fairness for all igaming affiliates - doch.news - no sponsors. Hence no conflicts of interest!

Do you know that YouTube prepares the Updated Terms of Service, that come into force on Jan 5, 2022?
In particular, information has been added about preliminary notifications that users receive when the service prepares changes; the structure of some sections has been changed (for example, "Blocking and deleting an account"); added to the terms of use information on what action is being taken against violators of the Community Rules.
