AAC is getting closer, it was really good to meet a lot of you in Amsterdam last week, it was shame a lot did not attend and I hope that even more will attend AAC.

Lets find out who will be attending????

Hi Shaun,

It would be awesome to finally get to meet you and a few others for sure!

It's not so much those recent events as much as it just takes so much out of me to do a short international trip and I always manage to come back home sick every time as last time I was down for almost six days.

I would make it a week, but hubby and the furkid would be left at home and I don't do to well when I'm away from them that long. Call me crazy. I know, I've heard it from a couple folks already.

Not to mention the 10 hour flight and then going over all that water. I love to fly, but seeing those folks standing on the wings of the plane that landed in the Hudson did not help one bit! But, I hate to waste the airfair so we will see.

I'm like betpartners, if someone pays for my room for three days and save me a grand then I'll go. LOL

I know what you mean the trip is a killer it takes me 23 hours from Costa Rica to Amsterdam and twice in 1 month, the jet lag has killed me plus the lack of sleep due to our new born baby.....


Guys next year please just one event in Amsterdam...........

23 hours? You lot have it easy!!

It's usually around 36-40 hours from down here to get to Europe, once stopovers and waiting in lounges is factored in.

No Amsterdam for me - we've just bought and sold a house, so we will use the time and the cash to facilitate the move.

get on the flight put loads of drink down you crawl off the plane hit the coffeee shops go to sleep in your hotel and the next day you will feel top of the world.

One of our tech team has just relocated from Costa Rica to New Zeland he loves it.

I forgot to mention that my 10hrs is a direct flight (thank god) into London, but I do have to get to Amsterdam so that adds some time.

I would never do over 14 hrs to anywhere.

I have 3hrs 45 to Newark a 4.hrs 30 mins wait in newark then a 10 hour flight from newark to Amsterdam, the starts with a taxi picking me up at 4.15am.....

Poor thing! To do that twice in a month is torture. Good thing you're a young tike huh? hehe

If I fly to long then I'm dizzy for quite awhile after I de-plane coming and going. I even got sick outside while waiting in the Taxi stand (how embarrasing) one trip when I travelled with Bonustreak, but I always love it when I get there though.

doing it in costa rica just reverses the problem for european affiliates and operators then doesnt it

whereever you hold people are going to have to travel long distance

RE Costa Rica, a few people have put events on there and they didn't do well with attendance - Problem with these places is that everyone says "Oh yea I'd fly there and then when it comes to booking and going they don't - Also problem with CR is that there isn't that many affiliate friendly operators there or at least marketing pro active (of course not you Shaun) operators so support is unlikely to be that high.........BUT hey I have been wrong a couple of times before

CR has some of the most upstanding gaming companies in the world....LOL just dont argue with them....
