Another thing to consider in your example is bitcoin sports/casino vs 5dimes who has poker along with their other operations. Any client who plays poker has to go through collusion checks. At pretty much every poker site except PokerStars, it takes a bit of time to run those checks.

Good point. Also if the btc-bookie does not have asian/pinnacle odds, they must do KYC as well, because otherwise their lines would be beaten and they can not survive. Actually I was kicked out of one asian bookie in the past playing steam and Pinnacle asked me once not to bet certain event too.

I did not hear news from pros hitting weak lines at btcbookies. But if the bookies do not start with KYC they must start to steal from some players and that could be bad for whole industry.

I think until now btc gambling survived because they attracted tech savvy gamblers, who are actually not savvy in gambling. Now it will be the opposite. Experienced gamblers who do not know bitcoin will move into btc at unknown pace.

So the payments are coming, everything is ok with 5dimes (btw they might rebrand to 5d.com, just bought that cool domain).

    According to http://calvinayre.com/2016/05/10/bus...ey-laundering/
it is exactly as I thought. There was no moneylaundering. There was just gamblng. And gambling now is moneylaundering. So we have to know now, that everyone who is taking bets (and probably who recommends bookies) for US citizens is a money launderer, criminal etc. And you can bet on the headlines that those people are also using bitcoins, which itself proves the fact, that it is about moneylaundering, drugs, terrorism etc. Business as usual.

They have bigger problems out there right now, letting a large amount of the prison population back into the public due to over crowding, the last time they closed some sportsbooks down there were quite a few thousand locals which stopped contributing to the fragile economy

Not sure if I am following you:
The overcrowding is not related to gambling and closing shops I guess?

I am not saying we all will go to prison. I think after all that the big fishes are already out of USA. We will be just marked as moneylaunderers as other people are marked as terrorists. They will be happy to seize some money, domains; they will be happy keep the weird restricted monopoly with dull threats. Just the illusion that the world is full of criminals is enough to justify the power plays that are needed for status quo. I do not know why I am always amazed when some idiot from government agency / police says some nonsense and all "journalists" just repeat that nonsense. This was nasty attack on reputation of 5dimes. Even insiders here said/thought that 5d were really laundering money.

Yes, I agree that the world economy now is in **** also because every state now (not just USA) started to target grey economy. It may not be fair to accurate taxpayers, but when someone goes literally after everything that is not 100% ok, then money can not move freely. And it hurts everyone. Even the locals, whores and drug dealers are customers of someone. And they at least spend cash, not with credit.

What were Panama leaks good for? To reveal how spoiled is world? Fine. So now the rich will hide the assets even more and the economy will be even more fragile and everybody will stimulate aggregate demand for things nobody wants with taxes or rather debt. Bitcoin peaked at almost 600 USD today in China (30% surge over weekend). Why? Also because the system forced companies like 5dimes to use it. Well thank you everyone. You, who restrict free trade. I just had my best ROI weekend of life just sitting on BTC.

I meant rhe Costa Gov have enough legal issues with the increase in local crime.. bookies "which are not illegal there" are at the bottom of the list.. there are bigger fish to fry
