Default Advice on choosing a domain

    Hi everybody!

I was thinking to start creating a website about online bookmakers. Looking into my portfolio of domains, I've found two bookies-related:

    1. allbestbookies.com
    2. onlinebookies.top

This is where I am stuck. I like "online bookies", but not sure if should I go with a new tld like .top

    What would be your option?

I wish you all the best!

Nice domain names. I'd go for the .com for sure. It's much easier to brand. However, you might want to check the key word searches in your market for each of the keywords. I din'tthink Google gives as much riority to keyword based domain names. I still think it's an important factor. Every little bit helps.

The problem with "onlinebookies.top" is it has already topbookies[dot]com which might create confusion to your target market. I'll go for allbestbookies[dot]come or find other .com domains.

    Just my two cents. Thanks.

For me there is find the unique brand name and forget for placing keyword on domain

If you are targeting the Bookies keyword then you can use the bookies but for onlinebookies there is very bad for because that name is too general for me

In my opinion, you must looking for one unique name which will represent your website overall

Whatever you use, stick with .com and let the other one go, as in don't waste time or money keeping it.

Oh, and don't do this kiss of death that some other affiliates like to do: do not use anything with hyphens.

I would personally choose the .com domain just because it is .com

LCB (latest casino bonuses) acquired the UK bingo site: TwoLittleFleas.co.uk

The reason I'm mentioning this, is because that site, like other brands who have opted to go for a quirky brand name, other than a "keyworded" domain, have succeeded to grow a decent business. Another site which comes to mind is ThePOGG. While I have domains which use generic keywords, I finding that those I have which are not keyword based, but instead "Brand" based, there really insn't any difference in ranking potential. This of course only works IF your offering up to punters/gamblers a unique site. One which is not your usual WP cookie cutter.

    Just my 2 cents worth

I think that all of the popular domain names which include .com .org .co.uk and the likes of these are the best options to place your bets on

You all helped me a lot! Thanks! Always wondered that .top or .today are so cheap, less than $2 per domain.
