Default aff programs .... in case you missed this at CAP

Hi all, (thank you to aff programs that have chosen to read this thread)

I have made a decision to offer a $300 bounty to players that have signed up under my sites that send me proof of their deposits ....(any) .. that prove an aff program is screwing me.

I'm tired of bullshit! Yes ....most progams I promote ...perhaps all..... are honest.

but I warn you now. You screw me and I'll barbeque you on aff sites such as this ..... relentlessly.

I'm going to start a campaign .... offering players this $300 bounty .... for information that might prove cheating. I'll tell them the truth. That affs cost them nothing extra. That we are the most likely reason they get paid .... as aff programs (casinos) don't want to be outed as cheats in any form.....

and if they prove this ....I'll give them $300. the price will go up as I go along.

so you choose to screw me ... be ready for the much higher price you'll pay.

this is fair-minded. I thank you for your understanding in this matter.

    btw: how this is done:

you tell players that first of all.... portal owners NEVER cost players anything extra.

that in fact ... your their best chance of getting paid because you represent so many more players than any one player could.

that they should email you (you get their addy on top of all else) when they sign up and ask for copies of deposits into the casino and then you can always check with the casino if you doubt the player.

the bigger the deposit ... the less likely they are trying to get over on you.

this adds credibility to your site .. and protects you from cheating programs because trust me ..... i've run many similiar offers over the past 7 yrs ..... its pays quickly to get rid of cheats.

oh ya,,, and I've partnered with several different affs in recent times. you figure out which ones!

Almost Here! How would you like to be able to get not just one sign up from your player, or even a couple, but every single casino they join from here on? I've a plan that can make that happen and it will likely also tell you every time the player is active within the casino.

Well it’s about time we toughen up and certainly agreed with every word you said BB. Some programs deserve a real wake up call everything from bogus aff tags, DB problems, unanswered emails, and the list goes on. If I were to post my stats spanning over the last two years it’s beyond comprehension. Not one dime earned! Yeah there is most certainly a problem here.

    So let’s get it started!

    Thanks for the post BB

Brilliant bb. This is exactly what we need. While I have done testing on my own it is on a small scale. Imagine what we can do together. I would like to see a network of affiliates testing each other so it doesn't hurt ones pocket. I would volunteer. It's not hard for me since I love to play lol. Also we can critique the casinos as players.

    Behind you 100% bb.

You know, it is as important to recognize which aff programs are honest. Hopefully most... which I expect it will be. But it seems every program has a complaint from time to time - it could be a stats issue, it could be something unfounded and/or lacking proof.

his is a great initiative! Thanks bb1!

Agreed matted. Sometimes it is merely a stats issue and good to bring to the attention of the affiliate progam. If there are questions, testing is the best method. I remember when I was new and got 5 clicks then wondered why I didn't get a deposit lol. Sometimes it's harmless and other times there is a problem.

It is always a good idea to test whether you are new or seasoned IMO.

    Hi again all,

there have been some very credible points brought up about this discussion at CAP.

I am trying to keep you all over here ... caught up on what said there lol

anyway .. here's my latest post there.

    _______________________

well while this idea has its flaws.. its my experience that for the most part players .....least those I have had over the years ... are pretty honest.

that this idea will involve knowing about the player having signed up under you .. that it targets the fact of repeat deposits showing up in your account.

again I say you have to explain to the surfer that we as portal owners don't cost a player anything. that we are their backup with contacts could never have and will go to bat for them if they run into a snotty CS agent who won't try to accomodate or address their issue. This happens and is IMHO one of the biggest problems in the industry. People have a complaint and go to CS and get nowhere... they don't know how to get their problem past this person. We can. Therefore there is incentive to make sure they DO follow your links.

I already said that ..... well for instance in the case of Referback which gives credit across the board to the aff first signing the player at any of their properties .... that if you have an issue and then contact the aff manager and are told the player is already tracked to say Simon. Well I'll be contacting you sir to ask if you are getting credit for the deposits I have been shown proof of: if you say no... then I'm out $300 but I also still learn not to trust a program that isn't giving credit for deposits.

    and I helped someone else.

Its all in how you explain the situation to surfers. I've found an honest truthful approach is best. Because truth is ... its much smarter to sign up thru a reputable portal than to go it alone thru some search engine.

I've made a fair living the last 7 years going this route.

Sometime after the first I'll have this approach written up and will post it here.

in the end: I will have power over what I think is deserving in paying the bounty. I have run a guarantee for years and only ever paid out 3 times ... and 2 of those were because of a late payment situation and I didn't want to see a player dis-satisfied ... and even though the player did eventually get paid .... I let them keep the money I had sent.

I still talk regularly with this player. I'm certain i've made my money back.

what I'm asking of players is time consuming and therefore if it ever reveals there is cheating/tracking issues ..... which will be strictly tracking deposits because you'll know off the bat about if the sign up showed up .. so signups really won't be an issue.... that part will take care of itself if you follow me: then they deserve to be paid for their troubles.

and like I said... $300 is cheap to get rid of some place that is screwing you around for whatever reason.

I go further to point out a fact most gambling affs already know. Its really easy to rack up some amounts when you gamble.

take out the bonus chasers .... who won't have any deposits to show you anyway .. or certainly not enough to likely make a differnce in being able to discern in most program stats ... and you're talking about people who are making deposits large enough to merit knowing what the hell is going on?

there's going to be a lot of angles I'm going to have to cover. I appreciate the feedback because it helps me to cover these in the terms of the bounty. But i definitely think it is doable.

*Referback was just used as an example and I'm not in any way saying they are cheats or have tracking issues.

    Hi folks,

I'm here to apologize. my idea has a flaw that I didn't forsee.

someone at CAP mentioned the casinos can just claim a big win from somoone else.

I'm sorry to have wasted your time.

I still encourage testing. that works. it just is so damn much more expensive than the bounty idea.

its hard to supply someone $1000 or more ... just to find out.

what I suggested at CAP was a sticky thread that people can come in and say .. hey this program under-performs.. / didn't show up in testing ... basically let us know which programs are producing and although I know we all do differently with different programs ..... you see a name pop up enough times .. its got to be a warning.

again... I thought I had the answer. I didn't. and apologize. Wish it was differnent.

    Hey BB,
Not willing to give up yet after all “this will be a interesting thread” (BigFish). There are ways of doing this no question. Whether it is strength in numbers or some other way. All it takes is perseverance and patience.

Guess I will post screen shots for one program starting at the beginning of the year. People should be disgusted enough to start doing something about it. Enough of the excuses we have mouths to feed and life’s to live! I don’t relish in the thought we are being burnt. We all work very hard too have no monetary return.

Enough is enough I live it for almost 3 years now.

I think the idea is VERY credible still....

If the player lets you know what they bet and when, then it is still easy to find out if they tracked. Some programs, like Brightshare, allow you to look at your players individually and see what they've wagered and deposited.

If you get that info from the player - then you can match it up 100%.

I think your idea is great. There's got to be a way to hold the aff programs accountable. Ideally it should be done here, but an extra layer of testing would be nice for the programs that are in "question".

Actually, it would be good for both the programs and the affiliates. It could potentially clear up potential misunderstandings.
