Default AffActive have implemented a high-roller policy

Summary of Changes: AffActive have instituted a High-Roller Policy Effective on December 4th. Please check your stats to determine if it is retroactive.

Guard Dog's Reflections on the Impact for Affiliates: This is a High-Roller Negative Carryover policy that appears to be effective for all players. It was implemented December 4th and is likely retroactive (it is not stated in the terms that it will not apply to existing affiliates and player base).

    Details:

    Predatory:

xii. In case of high roller players which can cause high fluctuation from month to month. Management explicitly reserves the right to reinstate negative carry-over as determined for specific situations. This is necessitated by monthly volatility. Affiliates will be paid for specific players but negative carry-over will apply.

I can understand the possible need for a high roller policy but this one seems to vague.

First, they don't state what they consider as a high roller...that should be stated with a set dollar amount.

Then, to be more fair they should have covered a ring-fencing situation but the above doesn't seem to so I agree not a nice one....

Being retro-active is also not very fair to anyone previous to the beginning of the year.

agreed - I often wondered how casinos could continue to operate without negaive carry overs in this situation. Ring fencing would be the best option for this in my opinion. Hmmn, funny though I didnt receive any email on this...............

I have talked with the folks at AffActive - This term will NOT be retroactive. I have asked them to place a statement in the terms which will clearly state this fact.

    Hey,

Just wanted to clarify that we never had an intention to make this terms retroactive. We never done that and not planning to do so in the future.

    Cheers,
    Daniel

I agree, I have been marketing affractive for a while and have been using their high roller offer recently. I have not seen much change as far as action is concerned. The one thing that affractive is great for is the pop ups they provide, other affiliates that I am a member of do not provide the pop ups. I will keep you guys posted on if/when the high roller marketing is working.
