And some block any and all IP's that use ahref's
Why shouldn't they?
Those who use ahref are spidering competitor's sites, using the competitor's bandwith, scraping their content, and will NOT be sending traffic to the competitor.
Yes, I already know this is not a popular opinion.

Many Software/OS/Firewall provider block ahrefs/majestic/moz/semrush by default settings.
Every pageowner can send a request to remove the crawled data...
Dont sit in a glass house...

No one should have to ask a third party to remove information they spidered, scrapped or otherwise "took" without permission in the first place.
Sure, we would allow let google or any other search engine do so on the hopes they will send us traffic, ahrefs/majestic/moz/semrush users ain't sending anyone else traffic, they are scraping your site for "their" gain.

Whenever I open ahrefs, it works properly. Might be it is a server problem on the client side.

I am not slow at all
maybe you have using proxy because at previous, the ahrefs in my computer is run slow due to proxy
