Amazon Affiliates

I see that some sports blogs are affiliates of amazon ( Not sure if all are USA and if it matters). I am an affilate and use a widget on my pokersite and have not had a problem. I was wondering if anyone from the US uses amazon on their sports sites and if they have ever had a problem?

amm not many uses it, but on sport there shouldnt be any problem i belief

I have seen sportsbook blogs with amazon widgets but mostly from UK and other Countries. I'm not sure how they are in the US regarding sportsbetting

I pushed a "betting library" page alongside my sports gambling pages - listing useful books without a problem - although I was using amazon.co.uk more often than Amazon.com, and of course sports betting is a legal and socially accepted activity in Europe.

I will say though that Amazon affiliate earnings are peanuts compared to normal affiliate activities, and we discontinued it about 2 years ago as a poor return on time and space.

Thank you @thegooner. It takes them three months to pay out 4-6%. The reason I did it for my pokersite is I was getting searches for poker player bios that I wrote and I figured that I would write about them further and review about their books. I have thought of putting up a ticket site that I am affiliates with through cj dot com. I am not getting my desired search terms yet without my ppc campain so I figured I would try to monetize it.

Same experience here. Over years, I tried various ways to push Amazon products on my pages -- sportsbooks, casinos, poker, etc. Maybe made $10. I no longer bother.
