Any Cheap Hosting in the UK?

It is very urgent. I need to find a hosting in U.K.

I'd like the servicy of privacy ( Domain Privacy ).

I’d like to have the possibility to have sub-domain and a different ftp.

I am interested a hosting of 10 GB to months and one to more 15 GB.
( I don't think to be first in the search engine immediatly )

It is urgent. Do you know other place ( U.K. ) where the online casino is legal to 100 %.

where do you have the hosting ?

There are for companies that listed themselves under the hosting category. There are about 3-4 times as many in the directory if you use the search feature to find listings that mention hosting rather than relying on the self-categorization.

I've used both www.vidahost.com (who have servers in the UK and USA) must tick box to have site hosted in uk.

These guys are really good, speed is pretty fast too. Support is amazing.

I also use www.dataflame.co.uk (slotsgallery.com) I've had no drama with them either and they're cheap too. Account setup in under 1 hour. Paying 17GBP for 6 months hosting.

http://www.fasthosts.co.uk/ are reasonably cheap and offer a good service

If you haven't made up your mind yet, you will get a 10% discount at memset.com if you say I (chillab) referred you. It only goes for the mini server and the fully dedicated server, I myself prefer a mini server since it gives you a lot of control.

Whats in it for me you ask, a 512 MB memory stick and some bonds

I was also looking for a UK hosting and I didn't know that it is so difficult. And I've already chosen a Canadian hosting (http://www.dayanahost.com/).

Okay.... So we got the cheap ones in U.K. now... But which one is the best for quality and performance there?

I'm currently using http://www.dataflame.co.uk

Setup is really quick and speed wise it's pretty good too.

Operates on Cpanel.

I've also used http://www.vidahost.com which is not bad also, but, support is not 24/7. Dataflame is big company as apposed to Vidahost.com

Just be careful, seems there are lot of small hosts who like to make out they are bigger than they are. I ended up signing up to 3 in total till I found these guys.

Also be real careful of 30 days money back offers, most ar traps and it will cost you more to get out of the deal that you lost signing up.

Another point also make sure if you go with anyone don't get suckered into transfering your domain to them

Just in case you discover they are not that hot, you may find they wont point your domian to another dns until you pay a release fee, just be real careful and read their T&C's before signing up.

Vidahost has been mentioned positively at leasta couple times to me already and I think I will definetely have a look at their website. As soon as I got experience, I will post in this thread again.

I initially went with 3ix and had a great service (on another site) but lately they have been awful, every night my (other) site was going down. Because I belive that my new site will be successful I have decided to move all my sites to a dedicated server. I have gone for 123 serv, which is 123reg, part of the Pipex group. its £40.00 a month and no minimum contract.

£40 per month for a dedicated server seems very resonable. I use One and One for most of my hosting but at that price, I may look to 123.
