Ok I wont be mean like I really really want to because you may be new and lord knows my first site was ugly, gross, nothing matched, had banners that didnt fit, weird things at the bottom of my pages and really ugly colors.

Instead I suggest getting a template at http://www.gamblingtemplates.net/gamblingtemplates.html and get Dreamweaver for the love of God.

Put some effort into it. I can see you made your entire site quickly and nobody wants to spend money at a site that is well like yours atm.

Agreed. My first site was a disaster. In fact, it's still ugly and looks outdated. I really want to give it a complete make over (again) but due to the number of pages, etc, it will take a lot of time....

The good news is you don't have many pages loaded yet so the changes will be relatively painless.

There are hundreds of free templates that will serve your purpose. Additionally, HTML Kit is a free download-able html editor that makes coding your site pretty simple. Just choose a clean, simple template so it will not distract or confuse your visitors and concentrate on adding good content.

Getting past the template....

I suggest you justify your text. Centered text is fine for headlines but should not be used for body text. Justified alignment looks more professional than left aligned text as well (such as you have on your home page).

Your Casino Reviews page comes across as a banner farm. I suggest using a single banner, button or logo (for brand awareness) plus a couple of screen shots and beefing up the text for each review. If the casino provides video or other media, use it as well. You obviously have some writing ability (and you know how to spell!) so I suggest you use that talent. Write in-depth reviews and place each review on it's own page.

Don't get discouraged! We've all been where you are now.

Avoid using gamblingtemplates - their code is sh@t and it's bloated beyond repair. Not to mention that the templates are difficult to work with for beginners because once you screw up a table (which you will) - you will waste a hell of a lot of time trying to fix. They don't understand how to use CSS and they insert multiple and unnecessary tables onto the page when they don't have to.

If I was starting out again and had no money to really invest. I would find a free wordpress template. Not the goddy ones,but the nice clean ones. I dont care for wordpress much myself, but a free wordpress theme would definitely be better then the gambling templates listed in that link.

I would also work on your content - which atm is thin. Try to get over 600/700 words onto the page and you will see a difference.

Now you need to make it work for you. I have to say that I totally agree with all the previous insightful threads, (thank goodness for forums) you will find loads of helpful advice round these parts...

I agree with the above posters. But I would also suggest that you stop for a second to do some reading about SEO - it's much easier to build a site with good SEO in mind than it is to go through and change everything at a later date.

Also I'm not a big fan of WYSIWYG editors. Use a template if you don't know or want to learn HTML / PHP (there are plenty of free ones out there) or if you have the money pay somebody for a design.

Always try to align the site. It looks so old school when a site is shifted to the left (or right).

Learn how to use a basic editor, be it Frontpage, Wordpress, or otherwise.

Don't stress a ton on SEO for now, but remember to keep URLs short. If you can create manageable URLs for now, you can work on the other on site factors later on.

Otherwise, create more thorough and outlined content. It seems like there is no focus on the site or the individual sections.

Getting a site online is the first step, now you can look into CSS and all the fun things you can do every week to tweak it.

With all due respect (which means I can say anything) I disagree. I made that mistake in the beginning of hiring a "SEO EXPERT". That was one of the main factors of how my original site so long ago got a penalty from google that lasted three years.

Besides, you really want to learn as much as you can and do it yourself in the beginning. When you are generating revenue later on you can outsource some of the more tedious work, but you'll KNOW what, how, and when to to everything through your own experience.
