An arrest warrant was recently issued for Bryan Micon, alleged operator of Botcoin-fueled Seals With Poker.

The Nevada Attorney General’s Office and state gaming regulators are pursuing the operator of an unlicensed online poker site in what’s believed to be first prosecution of its kind by the state.

I wonder if the sudden closure of the site was connected to this in some way then?

Oh it definitely was. If you watch Micon's YouTube video explaining what happened, it's clear that the site was shut down and he moved to Antigua almost immediately after the raid. Of course he's now running SwCPoker, which is basically a nicer version of Seals With Clubs, out of Antigua.

Had me listening until he starts talking about extended vacations ... and providing a "proper" environment for his daughter.
Both lines are the sort of diverse thinking that a liar comes up with to attempt to justify his/her actions.

Micon agreed to a plea deal a few months ago, and it was finalized this week. He paid a $25,000 fine and will be on probation for two years.

This two years probation seems to be the standard, it's the same has Jessica Davis (Paris Smith) the now CEO of Pinnacle got back in 2006, interesting article from the NY times on how the Feds are looking into the Curacao licensed company!
