Default Attention all RTG program reps

Most (not all) RTG programs already have been severly lacking in the amount of stats and info provided to the affiliate to help in their promotions, but as of today I have seen a reduction in the information you provide the affiliates and complete REMOVAL of campaign tracking.

This is not true of a few programs, but of those that it is, can you provide a reason behind this?

It's tough enough for some of us to convert your brands, but making the job harder is certainly NOT a way to win friends and influence marketing decisions of affiliates....

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!

    Hi Rick,

I agree with you the the "new" affiliate reporting suite is a bit of a let down and not what you would expect for an "upgrade". We were very disappointed after seeing what RTG had produced despite spoon feeding them what we wanted to see in a program. Once they showed us what they had produced we did not have the time to develop or license our own system in time so we were somewhat forced to take what they delivered.

Anyway, it's got SOME upgraded features but not all as I said. We will be launching more features in due time and having a serious look at alternatives. Keep in mind, if we were to launch with something new, would could be faced with tasking affiliates to change or update new tracking codes - something we would like to avoid...

Anyway if you are looking for your Sub ID reporting, for now it is under Reports > Statistics by Banner and choose "Show all subIDs".

Any other questions please let me know.

    Regards,
    Jason

I haven't had the time to look at what you guys were said to release today, but a few of the RTG groups that had been using the new stuff used to have the subgid reporting and as of today that had disappeared.....

So if this is what you were forced to move to, tell them you want to offer what they offered last week not what came out today....

It never ceases to amaze me lately that the software providers keep pushing these updates out that are less functional that what they had before the updates....

.....and for some reason they don't want to listen to their licensees and certainly never listen to the affiliates because if they did we wouldn't keep asking why the backends do not provide us with the stats we want.

We would of if we could of, but we couldn't. All operators using the global affiliate system were forced to use the "new" version.

As I announced yesterday however, once this new version is launched, we will be more flexible with adding new features going forward.

    Regards,

    Jason

    Hi Jason,

I just logged in. I didn't find any change. I was not directed to the Profile page as mentioned in your mail. Does it mean that you have reverted to the old system?

    Hi Nandakishore,

No - unfortunately we have not reverted back

There was a problem with this yesterday but it should have be fixed for all users. Im checking now with RTG as to why only some users are experiencing this - will let you know shortly.

    Regards.,

    Jason
