August Google Update Insights

Hi,

Is there anyone here who experienced a significant upturn or downturn during August from the Google updates and has any real insight into why?

I saw nice uplift in first 10 days of month, followed by crazy volatility then a little downturn. Overall, wondering where it will land.

Hi, from what I really noticed that Google on this update started to favour casino websites. Brand websites started to rank high for a lot of keywords where affiliates used to hold top 3 organic results. Also many diiferent non-gambling websites (like glassdoor, tripadvisor) started to rank more often for gambling keywords.

Hi, google removed the micro-markup from my site, but micro-markup is present in webmaster tools. I also watch the problem on other websites.
