About LinkBacksI just logged on to my Google Webmaster Tools account, and fouund a link in red bold font that says: "We're changing! Check out our new look!" So, I checked it out.
The new format is not news worthy at all, but what is worthy of inspection is the information given on backlinks is far more ample than the older (current) format. So, in a sense the parameters for what they share with the webmaster is different.
I am seeing more depth of "external links". I also noticed that they are not showing as many "spamy" links.
Check out the differences in the old and new versions.

I like the new one really. It helps me track down my keyword target rankings which is actually my primary concern about my blogs and website.

I too love the new one. It has better understanding of what webmaster wants. And tracking keyword ranking is awesome !
