Choosing cost per acquisition vs. a revenue share scheme has never been an issue for me. Sometimes I just flip a coin, when they ask.

Have you read this post: www.gpwa.org/forum/cpa-revenue-share-203752.html?

I'm just saying the commission scheme is the least of my worries, but here's my answer to your questions:
    1. Yes. You have to promote the ones that you like.
    2. The standard and calculations are not really an issue. The issue is how much you actually get paid, after promoting the brands.

It’s what you DON’T see that matters.

Are you new to gambling promotion?

    Hi,

when you choose between CPA and rev share one important factor is how the "expected lifetime" of the operator is.
If its a new casino/sportsbook operator you might consider CPA.

You don't want to put a lot of effort building a large rev share customer base with an operator that: 1. will be out of business next year 2. Lower your rev share when your NDC count is low. Choose programs with operators that will treat your business relation fair in good and bad times.

Depends on a lot of variables, rarely anything in this business is a constant. Your traffic, the amount of your traffic, how targeted is your traffic, keywords etc etc all play part of this what you'd choose. Your future plans on how long you plan to stay in the business should also be considered.

CPA should and would be taken over rev share in a few situations: free bet/bonus hunters who register deposit and never play properly or long enough for you to see anything; you need initial capital fast to invest it in further development and then switch to rev share; you are not in it for the long run.

Pretty sure most books will give you a CPA deal if you talk to your manager. The price however varies, again on your traffic, its demographic etc. That should be discussed directly with your managers, as nobody can give you a magic number and even if they do may not be what you get offered (for better or worse).

Rev share is the model, you'd want to choose if you are planning on developing a website/s and gradually increase your presence and traffic. I'm not gonna namedrop brands here, but a quick search on the forum will show you who to promote, as well as visiting a few affiliate websites.

Things to considers when choosing a partner: T&Cs, T&Cs and T&Cs. Forget the bullcrap about 50-60-70% revshare, 70% from 0 is still a 0. Look for friendly affiliate terms, like no performance quotas, no account closure if x amount of mounts you haven't brought a customer, negative carry over (optional, not really a bad term, but hard to pull off if you are new with low customer database), friendly diligent affiliate managers, who are quick to respond and take care of your needs. Believe it or not, you have these brands who'd respond to you once a week, which is very very VERY annoying.

The standard rev share varies from 20% - 30%. Look for hidden fees and taxes in the T&Cs, as sometimes they'd show you the big % and then take like 5-10% of it on admin fees. The keywords for what you are looking for is CONVERSION and RETENTION. Basically once the click is made and the customer is sent to your sportsbook partner, what % they can convert into depositing new customer, and how long they can keep the customer happy and playing. Everything else is irrelevant if this cannot be fulfilled.

Hope this helps in terms what you'd like to look for and then find what works for you in terms of business model as well as what partners to choose from.
