    Default Best holiday destination?

    Hey guys

So I've been pretty flat out lately with working long hours and some personal issues, which I find have made me absolutely utterly exhausted, and feel like I need a good holiday.

I'm curious to know what is the best holiday you've had? Where was it and what made it so great?

    Cheers

The best holiday I've ever had was in Holland for a few reasons.

I stayed with family and friends so that made it really cheap which is always good!

Also, I really love the culture (not the pot, the culture lol) and the architecture over there. Plus the history is also really interesting. So that's what made my trip great was checking out all that stuff that I find really interesting.

In terms of fun holidays - Fraser Island is a great spot for fishing and swimming.

    Hope you find somewhere fun!

Places I been out of country, Florida, Mexico, Holland, Germany, Italy, Cyprus, and Greece. A bit biased the best with out a doubt Greece. Consider Greece the full package good weather, fishing, swimming, food, entertainment, people, culture, and site seeing, well just about everything.

What makes Greece a good holiday spot? The list would go on forever…the only stress there is driving. If you can’t relax there you would be hard pressed to find another location.

What I enjoy most about Greece is the culture. Thinking about moving there.

Second would be Southern Italy around Lecce very close to Greece. Get the best of both.

Where I am in Hawaii is a constant 30 degrees at the moment Renee, if you are looking for somewhere to laze by the water. Plus you can't beat the AUD-USD rate at the moment so a bit of shopping too.

I take it Melbourne is not on the list?

Knysna on the Garden Route in South Africa, the most stunning, beautiful and relaxed place in the world!

No stress, gorgeous beaches, Mountain ranges, whales and dolphins, need I say more! Knysna is on a lagoon with everything around it is over looking the lagoon! People are very friendly and enjoy life!

Drive along the Garden Route while you are there, plenty of coastal towns with so much history and culture, even go ride an ostrich if you are that adventurous!

    Thanks!

Considering I'm in Melbourne every second weekend, it doesn't really feel like a holiday to me. Plus, since we don't have a car down there, it's kinda hard for me to head down to the beach, even though we are located in Richmond.

Dylan your suggestion sounds absolutely amazing. I'm hoping to head over to SA next year and will definitely be visited there when I go. Thanks

Shaun - Thailand at the moment is not the best location to visit considering the tsunamis and all that.. The current period is like the highest storm season I believe so it's possible if I go there, if I return, I will return by swimming back in a huge wave
