I personal don't think it actually will be very popular, the same as the .casino extension. There's just too much diversity at the moment to keep it all neatly "organized". But who knows what will happen in the future

I think I'll just stick with .com - I'm pretty sure it'll always hold the top place for what a website address should be in the minds of most people (general public) who are not affiliate marketers and have no idea about what its all about.
