It does seem a little strange all these guys who suddenly turned up from nowhere,
without details of where they are from, what sites they had or any history of them
on this forum. Bit odd.
Do you think that every single bet365 affiliate is on this forum? People discovered that something is going on and now try to find answers.
This forum lists bet365 multi-award winning partner programme as their platinum sponsors, so they naively think they might get some support here, however they even don't get condolences.
bet365 are a very well run company and they always analyze things and experiment on the ways to earn more money.
They are crooks, but very wise and patient. I admire the fact that it took so much time for them to show their real face.
I also believe that bet365 will be ready to scam affiliates of any size, but only when they feel the moment is right.
However, if any affiliate provides decent reasons that they are wrong they would be happy to settle this little misunderstanding to keep things quiet and mutually beneficial.
In vast majority of cases affiliates are pushovers, wimps that will never unite and will never cause any harm.
In a way everyone is a crook. Everyone is trying to outsmart the others. That is what life, evolution and capitalism is about.
While I agree with everything you said, I would add that they were ethical crooks to me. They called me on 26th July, they explained situation, they did exactly what they told me over the phone. I have to give them credit for that.
They also said that that they will send the emails to everyone that they sadly can not call everyone personally (I felt in a voice of one of the last OGs rep, that he really does not agree with this policy from his point, partly because he must feel he will lose his job soon). Why they did not send the emails to others is a mystery. But for sure they sent nothing and they did not send it on purpose.
Retrospectively this was prepared. They told (to tufty?) several months ago that transfers of affiliate accounts are not allowed. They retained my money for over 6 months and then they were asking A LOT of questions. More than my bank. Likely they were evaluating something.
I agree on this forum are just wimps who will never unite. Personal attacks out of frustration are more important. After all we are the competition. Affiliates were not able to unite anytime in the past when it was about industry survival and when the first programs started to steal. Nobody understood that the good affiliates deserved to be praised and that was the bare minimum that anyone could do "for the 3k monthly pension paychecks". Now the situation is different. The last one goes out and there is not much to fight for in this business. Still seeing the Bet365 banners on GPWA is a disgrace.

Most affiliates are lone wolves.
Not collaborative or empathetic by their nature.
That's what I see on here anyways.
No, no. I don't buy this sentimental stuff.
Crooks are crooks, I find little if no ethics in their actions or treatment.
They were not trying to "outsmart", they actually:
1. brutally misled people with their lifetime commission promise
2. after most major aff programs scammed people, bet365 with their "good guys" image invited a lot of promotion and effort from affiliates
3. changed rules later and not even bothered to inform that they retracted their promise to pay affiliates they deactivated
I would think this sounds like a scam, not like they outsmarted everyone.
Of course, there are not the worst here.
But they are bad, very bad people.
P.S.
Bet365 even robbed their biggest GPWA advocate - Sherlock.
But in ethical way. So no love lost.

Lol. Indeed it looks foolish to advocate them retrospectively. But I believe it should have been done. They had to be supported. If they were crooks to you before, I am curious where and how. I was just trying to say what I think they are doing and why. The not-sending termination notices definitely was not ethical.
In the end this all matters like the famous polls of Anthony. The only thing that matters whether the affiliate program pays or not. I agree that no affiliate now is safe and this should be shouted as loud as their support before. The big affiliates who are alive should understand who they are working with.
No doubt they played nicely this revenue share swamp and waited for the sweet spot where it paid them off the most to rob us. There was a discussion in 2017 about selling the account (because by the time some other crooks wanted to buy the acct from me), where I was counting future value of the account for myself. I was thinking 5 year longevity should be expected with some discounts year by year. The account lasted for 8 years and the revenue was going down much slower than I thought/expected.
If there was no love lost, well... the love was definitely lost. I just do not hate them. They did not destroy my life, it was the opposite. They were important in the past and my blind trust allowed me to risk elsewhere. That is it. Crypto has a nice shortcut. SFYL. Life goes on.

I sold my site about a 18 months ago, I was not looking for a buyer, I was in fact redoing it and I got an offer, accepted it and sold it, on the idea that passive revenue will not be a problem. That site could handle the monthly requirement in half a day.
Since entering the predictions niche I realised how low converting it is, especially with overexposed brands. So now I am not sure I will cover the monthly requirements, even though I am active. I've also been hit by a google update last month (badly), so hopes are really low.
I already moved on, I expect to have my customers cut off from me in March and that's it. If it won't happen, that's good obviously. If yes, I will have a fallback.
It's not bet365's fault that I sold my site. And I'm not a teenager, I always thought bet365 could do something like that, you get some experience after you get burned a lot in this industry. The idea that I will get profits from very new players sent (2022-2024) felt kind of right, but it was a losing bet. Sometimes you lose.
Are they crooks? Yes. Are they not reliable anymore? I don't know, they probably are super ok for anyone who can fill the quota (quota is really easy for anyone with good traffic, let's be honest), but overall I would say they are not reliable anymore. So yes, they are just the same as the other crooks.
Did they do it like Bwin? Yes (worse), so they deserve to be put here https://www.gpwa.org/forum/affiliate...-warnings.html on GPWA. If anyone remembers, Bwin slashed commissions, but they still paid me for over 10 years since that decision, until I ran out of players (regulations).
Were they the best and most reliable long term? Absolutely, from all the programs that I worked with, bet365 WAS the best. Not the case now.
Whining here will not make any difference if we just cry on each other's shoulders.
Do I hate them? YES. Why? It is just how I feel right now. I've sent new players this year, just don't enough to fill the quota. But I will lose all revenue generated fairly recently, as I said above. This doesn't sit well with me.
Did I enjoy working with them? YES. Especially when there were not many regulations, conversions were good, they were honest, everything went right.
Will I recommend bet365partners? From this point on, ABSOLUTELY NOT.
But they don't care much, if 2% of affiliates send around 80% of the revenue (which I think it's the case).
I'm also sorry for the people with so many signups, that sometimes they deliver new depositors even today, but they are already cut. That's really not fair.
Let's see if GPWA has balls and will put them into the Program Warnings section.

Hopefully a rep answers soon on this thread. Otherwise, they should be placed in the predatory section. We're all working very hard to make money in this already struggling industry and them doing this to their partners is absolutely cruel. They should be held to accountability.

No one is going to respond to us.
The newly created rules and conditions have one purpose — most likely the complete shutdown of their affiliate program, followed by the termination of payments.
The company is probably about to be sold, and this financial “burden” — the affiliate partners — will be eliminated, first to increase the sale price, and second because of the new owner.
Anyone got paid for September? Funny how The positive revenue is zero but I still see deductions.

My Bet365 Partners account was put on hold a few years ago when I didn’t reply in time to one of their emails. I don’t even remember exactly what it was about — something like confirming that I still wanted to stay active in the program, if I recall correctly.
They kept paying for the players I had already referred, but they stopped accepting new customers from my tracking links and no longer allowed me to promote them. Over time, I had accumulated a few thousand dollars there, but I never gave it much thought — I assumed the funds were safe, especially since they always required an invoice before making payments.
I tried logging in today, but it looks like my account is blocked. I’ve reached out to them, but since I haven’t logged in for at least six months, I’m not very optimistic about recovering anything.
Honestly, I believe that the affiliate model as we know it is slowly dying. For years now, I’ve lost trust in most affiliate programs. The so-called “shaving” has simply evolved — it’s no longer hidden; it’s done openly through admin fees, vague deductions, or other creative excuses just to avoid paying affiliates what they actually deserve.
It’s even worse when you have a real player community and actively promote brands over the years, constantly bringing in traffic and refusing CPA or hybrid deals because you genuinely believe in the long-term value of revenue share — the idea that it should be a win-win partnership. Sadly, that principle seems to be disappearing.

Yes, such an approach makes sense. Whether it’s smart to trade it for potential disputes and a damaged reputation is another question. But perhaps they already know they simply don’t need affiliate partners anymore — and they don’t expect any disputes to come.
But they will come. We’re working on it.
I got caught up in this as of May 1, had not seen this thread and wasn't following until I went to cashout my earnings like normal and realized i couldn't.
Quite depressing end to a long relationship.
