Betcha.com hearing in Washington State Supreme Court on May 27

It's been awhile, but you might remember a little peer-to-peer betting site called Betcha.com. The founder of the site, Nick Jenkins, set it up so that players didn't HAVE to pay losing bets (though their reputation and ability to get others to accept bets with them would certainly suffer if they didn't pay up), so it wasn't technically gambling.

After Jenkins went to jail and his site was shut down, the Washington State Court of Appeals ruled that his site did not constitute gambling. The state of Washington is taking the case to the state's Supreme Court, and Jenkins will fight the next part of that battle on May 27, according to his site.

Well this is interesting. After damage has been done Jenkins now has the opportunity to get back at his tormentors.

We all know that some guys are very good at circumnavigating some laws.
