    Default Betfred Affiliates missed payment

    Hi guys

Just a cautionary note that Betfred affiliates somehow didn't issue my payment this month and now I have to wait until next month to get it. This has annoyed me greatly for several reasons:

    1. I had to contact them to find this out
    2. They can't sort it out because they do all there payments in runs
    3. It was initially blamed on me

If you are expecting payments from them and you don't recieve an email on the 1st of the month telling you that you have funds then get in contact with them. I waited and got caught out.

Note: They did apologise for the mix-up

There are two things you don't mess with in my experience..

    1. a guys money
    2. a guys girl

Messing up someone's payout is a good way to build a bad reputation ... fast.

Glad you are getting paid. I would trim back traffic and send it to another network for a while just to be safe. (Reward those that take care of you even if the payout is a little less.)

The same thing happened to me last month. I got no notification that the funds had been paid into the cashier and when I checked they were never there. When I eventually queried it I also had to wait until the following month.
Their Aff Manager is good and responds quickly but I have also seen their payments slipping over the past few months.

In fairness to Fred's I have now been paid, but it was 3 months worth after a lot of confusion. The exact same thing that happened to Topboss, happend to me.

However, on learning that they are moving their system over to IA, I am now hesitant to complain. I have a feeling migration issues are heading my way...

As mentioned in Another Post, we're working with BetFred on the transition to a single unified platform (powered by IA) and in the near future will be working with them on managing the program.

I'm still myself getting up to speed on things so I'm not able to provide a lot of specifics yet, but just so you know you all have a regular here on whom you can rely on if you have issues in the future. If you have a current issue or request, you can send me an email at louis@incomeaccess.com or PM me and I'll get things rolling ASAP.

    Cheers

In my opinion, BetFred has always been a strong affiliate program. With such a strong record in paying affiliates, I can't imagine they are having issues due to lack of ethics or capital.

I would hope that's the case, but the fact that they are being dragged through the mud here (in a couple threads I believe) and they haven't publicly addressed any of these concerns is too bad. Any business operator should understand that this is an opportunity to reinforce their reputation by addressing these concerns swiftly and publicly.

I have had my share of late pays and issues with networks over the years. It's amazing what people will tolerate if they are just communicated with and made to feel they aren't being given the run around.

I agree 100%. good communication is important. If I was the operator I would send out an email explaining the situation. It's important if an affiliate is counting on the regular payment.

It seems like we are back to the same problems.
I am still waiting for May and June commissions and received no response to emails I have sent.
This is starting to get very frustrating.

Didn't get mine either, but I hadn't added my payment details into the new affiliate system. Would have been nice for someone to let me know we had to re-enter them.

My details were already loaded on their system, so I don't really think that is an excuse they can use.
It is such a shame because they normally have such a good reputation, but their accounts department or affiliate department - whoever is to blame - is letting them down and they are not making a good name for themselves.
Its not so much the late payment that bothers me but the fact that they don't respond to emails. That is a pet hatred of mine

Sent an email this morning, got a reply this afternoon. Addressed the email to Deborah (Deborah Flood) who seems to be main affiliate manager at Freds now.

Payments go through on the 9th and take about 3-5 days to clear. If your payment details are up to date in your account you don't need to do anything else apparently.

We've had a good experience with the move. Much better now.

Prior to the we had to manually invoice everything - and frequently payments would take 30, 40 or 50 days to process.

Now the payments seem to arrive like clockwork between the 13th and 15th of each month - but this month was the 9th !!
