I have had an email to inform me that The Sun Bingo is on the move again and migrating to Nethive. I don't know much about this at the moment but wondered if anyone knew anything?

Anything that involves a brand moving to the former "Winner Affiliates" is bad for affiliates.

Guys are you aware that none of you players are getting migrated from income access to nethive. All your existing players will be lost and they are asking you to start promoting them again from scratch on nethive.

Its an absolute disgrace and kick in the teeth to all affiliates, they are offering 3 months compensation similar to foxy, no one should promote them ever again!

Yes I believe that is the case as I now know they are unable to migrate affiliate accounts over to the new system due to it being a new company.

I have been promoting Sun Bingo for nearly 10 years and have seen them go through many transformations and every time they have always moved the player accounts over to the new system. Choosing not to migrate players to the new system is very disappointing from a big brand name like this.

I've emailed them back. I hope they haven't gone down that road. I never made a fortune with them but had some loyal players.

Yes it was confirmed to me in email that they are unable to do as it is a new company. But this has never been a problem in the past for example when they moved all the players over from Gamesys. Surely if they can spend time importing data for revenue share affiliates then they can export it to place into another system.

This what they are saying, but of course it is nonsense. Migrations have taken place from Income Access to Mexos systems in the past (the whole of Ladbrokes for a start). The ownership of Sun Bingo has not changed either, still in Playtech's hands. There is no 'new company'.

I asked did the players will be migrated. Look the answer and the "compensation package" ! WHAT A SHAME!!!

No the players wont be migrated over, however what we will do in order to appease you the best way possible is offer you a compensation package that will consist of paying you a guarantee of earnings for the next 3 months, based on your last 6 months average earnings. For example, if you are on a rev share deal and you generated on average $1000 a month for the last 6 months, you will be paid $1000 guaranteed for the next 3 months.

At the risk of pi**ing on Sun Bingo's Parade here, but....

Is it bad form if I was to offer an enhanced deal for any affiliates promoting Sun Bingo to migrate their links to Mecca Bingo for thjeir UK traffic?

I can only offer a Rev Share which I know is something that makes people nervous but I'd stand by the reputation of Mecca and myself to play it straight with any affiliate who has been dumped by Sun or Foxy.

It seems to me that a lot of programs associated with Playtech indulge in a lot of skullduggery.

This Sun Bingo scenario has obviously developed out of the Foxy scenario, those clever people at the Sun have obviously seen what happened and thought they could make a saving. Good luck to you I say - you are about to find out what it means to be shunned.

Scum is one word I can think of - and many more expletives added after that.

Profiting from the hard work of other people. Faceless nameless and shameless, the hide behind nonsense statements, we are in the midst of a data revolution and they ( NetHIVE - Playtech) can't migrate data. More like choose not to migrate data.

It's why I choose to promote smaller non-corporate brands these days.
