I was tracking several keywords in different GEOs, and found that the positions of some sites were changed very widely. I think that we got new update.
Did you notice that too on your sites?
What are you thoughts?

There was a lot of movement on Friday, and new features appearing in SERPs - news stories, more images / rich snippets than previously. It has calmed down now and much or our rankings returned to normal. It's shown up on SEMRUSH / sensor here:

We don't see any big movement. The next Google update is planned for May or not?

Google change things all the time...in different geos, terms, niches etc etc etc. Or at least that's what's believed they do (and I'm pretty sure they themselves have confirmed that). Some show as an impact, some don't
It's possible if you are looking at non English geos that it's the result of something they did on English .com 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 2 months ago
Normally - if it's any sort of wide update - you can just search Twitter Google update and the whole show will be getting twatted all over the world...but there's nothing obvious there that I can see.
If you are generating traffic from snippets this may be the reason

The Core Vitals update is planned for May, I wonder if we'll see a big interim update as it's been around 3 months since the last Core Update.
Seems to me that brands are getting over-compensated at present and a lot of searches have multple listings from the same domain which doesn't really add much to the user. Also seems to me that there are less position zero spots at present.
Was probably from seroundtable, they've quoted John Mueller that in the last year they've proposed over 5500 changes and 3600+ passed the rest were reverted. And this was years ago. Could be even more these years.
I know on Feb 10th the Passage Index hit in, helping longer articles rank up with portion of their info highlighted. Could be that.
If they do it, the shake up (at least initially) may not be as severe as might be anticipated. Remember that speed is (likely to be seen as) relative. In theory - if your page speed is not quite up to scratch it might only tank if everybody else's is better. And right now you can find many pages in top 10s across different niches (not just gambling, everything) with slow speeds.
+ there are multiple aspects. They might favor (or dislike) one over another.
+ if a slow page is (seen as) authoritative then they might leave it alone because the searcher value it gives outweighs the fact it's a bit slow (though in that case - over time - other faster pages that are also authoritative might overtake and you'll get naturally pushed down rather than 'demoted').
Lots of variables that could play a part.

I haven't seen anything noticeable yet either. As xecutable says, there actually was a Google update that was out recently.

the last 2-3 weeks i have been seeing crazy movements. there seems to be no patterns either to what has been happening. i have 1 site that is bouncing around dropping over 10 pages for some keywords then returning to vanishing again

seems like a link based update.. saw some spam sites tank... big link profile junk content
Didn't notice something special.

My website has been badly hit, mostly down on most of the indexes, after the mid-December 2020 update. Now the parameters have stabilized again. I haven't heard of any updates after that.

new update did not come
I'm glad that other people experienced the same. Lot's of up and downs during this period. Everything is back to normal now, I would say.
I think the last update from Google is a core algorithm update on December 2020 Core Update. This is the third core algorithm update of the calendar year. Is there any other Google update came after that?
i would say since covid the results have been insane.. nothing secure anymore just consistent bouncing
