Default Bodog as a % of Rev

Im just curious if Bodog (poker) does well for anyone here. I use to promote BoDog heavily but have given up a little as I haven't received a dime from them in 2 years. Not saying they didnt pay, I just can't get players to sign up there.

Anyone else have much luck, what would be a rough % of your rev that comes from Bodog?

Same story as you. Promoted them for several years now, not even one sign-up (Poker & Casino).

We've had pretty good success with Bodog overall - but the majority of it comes through Bodog Casino - with Sportbook and Poker trailing behind.

I'm not sure that giving you a percentage revshare helps you much - but total bodog revenue (all streams) is about 10% of our total and worth a significant amount this year.

However, just looking at Bodog Poker it might only be 10% of the Bodog total and just 1% of overall revenue . Mind you - the poker vertical is a small earner for us overall too.

Regarding the other issue of signups - the number of signed up players that actually deposit has dropped dramatically with UIGEA - it's down to 15-20% now from 40-50% beforehand.

No perfect answer. Wasnt looking for % of rev share but a % of your total rev. So the 10% is what I was looking for. Thanks for sharing.

Still promoting but the lack of a dedicated am is detrimental. Sebastian and I worked well together and kept each other on our toes with promos. The revs have really dropped off this year although signups are not too far off last year's numbers. The loss of the poker reload bonus and a righteous casino bonus is dragging them down.

Also, the lack of excitement in the poker client coupled with a low level of player liquidity is not making it any easier.

It's a pain that they don't have click stats - means you have no idea how many uniques you're sending them.

We recently switched our sites to download links and listed all three Canada,USA and the rest of the world download links.Since then our income and conversions have shot up.I figured we had some problem when i could not get my own links to work ,i am in Canada and the default links were for USA.They will block you from visiting the link if you do not click on right country link .Casino is generally where we earn the money as well

They told me that they geotarget the traffic... From your post I'm guessing that means the system doesn't work correctly?

From what I've seen - geo-route does work - but it doesn't work nicely.

IF you set up a link to a specific page on the US site, and the visitor is not US based, then the visitor does get redirected - but only to the front page of the correct geo-selected site.

Well, at least they get redirected to the appropriate domain!

    <- always an optimist...

Agreed - but I understand why CasinoBonusGuy saw immediate improvements when listing area specific download links for Bodog.

well i stumbled on this issue when i was checking my links and my bodog link went to a 404 page ,my bodog manager who is also in canada could not see it then he sent me the canadian link.So i lost all potential sales from any Canadian traffic ,Can't speak for the rest of the world but the USA link definitely would not redirect to any bodog page.I still have a ways to go with setting up my Bodog links but I am happy with what I have seen for october.
