I do not have any problems now. I can login to BS and all text links and banners are working.

As of 12:29 A.M Central NA time my stats were reset to zero?

    Banner and Link Stats

    No results found

I realize maybe I should have said something earlier but this has happened in the past. Not sure why it happens but always seems to occur around the middle of the month. No worries BS I am not overly concerned I do not carry your brand all that much. And this is not dig, slap just not my brand.
Some affs are still having problems logging in?

Not sure if this is related, however, I am able to login without an issue, the problem is that I don't get anything in the reporting. It used to hang quite often more me and now it displays the report heading very quickly and no data.

Will do Lloyd soon as I am more certain. On the surface it looks like a breach of delivery. Meaning somewhere the data is not being transferred properly. Now this could be contributed to many factors, filters, packet grabs, etc... It may be related on your end or maybe something else.

But what is certain something is not just right.

I noticed this too - and then if you try again it works on the second or third time.

Is that the same with you?

    Thanks, cheers

    Default Update

DBAs fixed the reporting issue and we checked the issue and it looks ok now.
IT did not spot any blocking by modesecurity on the BS site.
That is all for now. Please inform us of any additional issues if they occur.

    Thanks everyone!

    Cheers,

    Lloyd

Yes Lloyd is does seem to be random (and annoying...). It worked just after I made the above post then in the same session I wanted to check the size of the negative from December and the December numbers didn't display.

    Peter,

I have seen the issue every once in a while where the data shows zero when I know it isn't.

When that happens I normally log out, log back in and then run a report for a different month, then run the report for the current month again and it seems to give me the data.

Not sure why, but I do NOT think it has anything to do with cookies as I never clear them and still get the data.

    Thanks for the info.

Correct Rick - it isn't the cookies here. It's more do with the report generator which has bugs that we need to fix.

Jarvi, I have seen this too - very annoying - I know that sometimes clicking again on the submit once or twice gets the report to run - but this isn't the way it should be working. I'll request that our DBA and Web teams sort this out on Sunday.

    Thanks, cheers

I certainly agree Rick I always clear cookies every time while switching pages, a habit. The last six months I have no problems signing in but periodically around the middle of month my stats go to zero. Never bothered to try and retrieve the previous months then try for the current month to receive the data.

But what we all agree on some are still having problems signing in and retrieving stats. Appears to be an intermittent problem but consistent, a dormant bug I suppose.

It was this bug that made me give up on Brightshare a while ago. I should have said something but did not because no else was having these issues.

Lloyd thanks for being here maybe finally this persistent problem can finally get resolved.

    Thanks Peter,

Mid-month issue is interesting because we pay mid-month and everyone is checking their stats and payment details before payments. I wonder if this comes back to your comment and a possible load issue on the software ? We have been aware of the timeout issues since we moved to the new system but the feeling was that everything was working okay before the 500 server issue surfaced. However, from your comments, and some of the bugs we have been coming across the timeout issue has unfortunately never been properly fixed. Hopefully, this time we can nail it.

The cookie security concern surfaced when we started getting the 500 error but that seems to have been solved, for now, by an IT fix.

    Thanks again. Speak soon.

    Cheers
