Casinomeister Banned From CAP

Casinomeister, winner of the CAP best casino affiliate of 2007 award, reported earlier today that he has been banned from the CAP forums.

I saw Bryan's post at meister, but I am told it is not true and he is not banned at all.

I think I should go to bed - I haven't slept in two days. Maybe I am hallucinating all of this, or dreaming.

I guess when you try to 'force the issue' you have to accept the consequence. IMO he did the same thing that you did when you got banned mojo.

It was CLEAR that the Professor did NOT want to address the situation on his forum by locking the thread, but Bryan insisted which is his right.

No disrespect to Bryan, but I think he made his position clear in his video and the Professor can deal with it as he please. JMO

Yeah, probably best if no one asks any questions over at CAP. What was CM thinking?

Talk about a chicken **** thing to do, as soon as I point out publicly that my account was banned (to be more accurate 95% disabled) it's functioning now.

I'm not stupid - I've used vBulletin for years and I know how the back-end works. They probably have a "bastard child" user group - can't read 95% of the forum, can't post, can't PM, and they dropped me into this user group right after I posted the "Cap and its Transparency" thread. Who ever moved that thread into the private area was probably the one who disabled my account.

And as soon as I mention that I've been banned over here - it's "oh, your account wasn't banned, what are you talking about?"

I don't have time for these juvenile BS antics - I've told them to go ahead and close my account.

Whatever respect I had for CAP up until now has just dropped completely off the radar.

What bullshit.

IMO he did the same thing that you did when you got banned mojo.

Meister also has a history of banning people "just because" ... therefore he doesn't have much room to complain about being banned on CAP.

Gamtrak, I'm pretty sure it isn't so much because of Bryan's post at CAP, but because of his latest video.

Hi all, just wanted to let everyone know I have now been banned under two different screenames at CAP. Today, I went to look at the forum only to find my IP address is banned. It is just funny because Dominique made a comment last night saying she will help moderate the forums if the bannings are reversed. However, the bannings are simply getting stronger, so I wonder if she will not moderate the forums now, however, I will never know since I can't see the forums.

Hi Andre and welcome. That doesn't make much sense at all but you are in good company with many many others from over the years that are also banned.

I imagine GPWA and other sites will start to get a lot of new members like me who got kicked out of CAP. Much of my forum time was spent there, but now I must find a new place to get various info about affiliate programs and to stay updated with what's going on in the affiliate side of the industry. One thing is for sure, I will never go to their events again. Looks like it's back to CAC.

With all due respect Dom, casting the doubt on the poster here and previously on Bryan is confusing. Especially when it was shown that Bryan indeed was banned.

I am not casting doubts, I am reporting what I am either told or what I know. I was told that the ban list never contained Bryan.

And I know everyone is on planes at this time. Only reason I am not is that I am already in Europe.

I haven't commented on the truth of any of it, it's just strange. I sent a PM to Andre at CAP to see if he can get it. Other than that I can't do a thing at this time.

1 minute Cap say's the CM is top bollock, next he can't see. I dunno. It's getting old. 1 minute Cap are the all omnipotent, next playing the victim.

Anyway, Andre, the first point is how come you have 2 accounts? Business partner or something blocked too?

Point 2: what did you do to get banned?

One account got banned, so I opened another account. The first account got banned because the professor told me I wasn't allowed to speak poorly about any of his sponsors who paid good money for their spot on CAP. The second time I got banned was for questioning why Warren Jolly posted that we should all convince GPWA, JTodd, and others to layoff this situation. I can't quote it because I can't get into the forums, but I said something to the effect of 'I can't believe you are telling us to please stop asking questions'.

No, well, errm, there ain't alot of webmasters who allow posters to say this, or say that, and so on. There's a bit of hoohah going on at the moment like as if it's something especial to Cap, but it's not.

I dare say if you want to get back into Cap, Dominique will oblige when she returns from Blighty. Reopening multiple accounts is not something i'd advise though.
