It may be not funny but it is useful - the only thing they achieve with this kind of "communication" is to tell everyone that putting them under pressure works.

I've got problems with AGD and GPWA too...the next stupid move because now is 100% sure who is behind that.

Ya, AGD was really slow for me earlier but it did load eventually... haven't tried lately. I figured they were doing an update on the server or something.

AGD is loading ok some of the time and slow at other times....

I noticed PAL was a little slow today as well so it may be a VB issue....

I am on the fastest internet available here and these sites are still deathly slow loading. I hope it's fixed soon

I would hold off on that assumption unless you been told otherwise. Something I have noticed with CM over the few months is the server times out usually occurring late Saturday into Sunday. I would be curious to know? A DDOS is a pretty weak tool in these times and easily defeated.

This is crazy and disturbing IMO. I hope they publicly shame whoever is behind this non-warranted juvenile attack.

Sadly, DDos attacks will always be at least somewhat effective, although the ways to combat them now are better than in the past.

No matter where the server is hosted, if the attack fills up the network card of the server, the port on the switch for the uplink, or the port on the router, a ddos attack can litterally choke the provider.

Most providers are much more proactive as well as reactive to these kinds of attacks now and can often limit the attacks at the backbone level.
