Guys, I am in Kyrgyzstan

As you might know the situation in Kyrgyzh Republic is close to anarchy, the Revolution has started this morning! I am in the capital of Kyrgyzstan now... I hear the Klashnikov shots and some explosions.... I am (thanks god) not close to town centre... but, I am little bit nervous anyway

My first internet connection link is down, I am using my reserved connection... I hope it will be active for long. It will be a long and sleepless night....

the BBC site says the government and opposition are negotiating, which hopefully will help things calm down.

Yes stay safe mate, not pretty scenes on the TV

Word on the news is that the Americans and Russians wont allow it to get out of hand and are forcing them to talk, both have military bases in teh country and so they have vested interests in peace.

But whatever happens stay well away if you can and keep your head down.

Almost 4am here now, and it's not getting better! How we afraid that they will attack flats and houses... almost all shops and trade centers are under attacks... most of them are already robbed. Waiting for the sunrise....

I need to get them, because tonight the city is expecting the second wave of robberies... so I need to get em before someone steal them.

Hi Alex -

I'm more concerned for you. Bangkok is peaceful despite the stuff you're seeing on TV. It's had a minimal impact on my life and I don't expect that to change. That could change overnight, of course, but my main concern is that they don't storm the airport again.
