This is not Law again my Opinion for 100% clarity contact your Operators.

Mandatory would be the Link to Terms and conditions for sure I would think if you Linked the words responsible gaming to your page and then allow players to view the Gambleaware page from there that should be ok or link directly to gambleaware

Btw, not even GPWA is conforming to the new guidelines. No 18+ and no responsible gambling warnings...

We made these changes to our marketing material well over a year ago so right now we are looking through affiliates individually to make changes. I can't see the need for us to be sending out a blanket email like the others have.

All this time I questioned why no other companies were doing the same, and why do we have all this extra bullshit on our banners when noone else does, because quick frankly it makes them unappealing. I'm now glad we did it all back then. We might have gone way overboard with the detail on banners, but at least we know they are compliant.

When we changed everything, we did run some of the changes by the ASA and CAP copy advice team. Anyone (affiliates included) can do it through this page: https://www.asa.org.uk/about-asa-and...vice-team.html

They will give you advice on your copy to make sure it is compliant. I would suggest using it if you are not sure.

    Cheers

And to think that all these warnings are actually useless legalities...
The ASA asks for a ton of info in order to register you to use the service. And takes no responsibility if they gave wrong advice. Bureaucrats...

I had read somewhere you needed to place a GambleAware logo on your site but it doesn't seem right as they (GA) require a donation to display the logo and that seems like the regulator would be requiring you to make a donation. I am trying to source the email but I can't see it. I've been in touch with GA also. Not saying it's a bad idea to donate and display the logo, but it seems strange they would compel you to donate. (Sorry this was actually asked for in an email on 10-10-17. Although it's not asking for a logo, it is asking for a link but you'd want to do it stylishly:

    From the mail:
    How to be compliant:

Regardless of the way in which you promote Casumo, the 3 points below are a necessity on every page where you promote any kind of Welcome Offer:

    • Add: 18+, New Customers Only, Gamble Responsibly - www.begambleaware.org
    • Add link to Terms and Conditions (Media ID 7416)
    • Remove all Casumo Characters - The UKGC believes that these may appeal to minors and therefore must no longer appear in any way, shape or form in the UK.
