Content Thief - Getting tired of this guy!!!

Anyone know who owns sportingadvisoruk . com? I am getting sick and tired of this punk stealing my blog writers' work on our blog and taking credit for it on his site. This guy even changes the dates of the articles to make it seem as if he wrote the article first. Who is this punk, anyone know????

The Whois information on this website looks surprisingly similar to the information that I pulled up on the website that was stealing my articles. It looks to me like, other than making a phone call, that there is no other way to contact the owner. Am I missing something?

I just want to know for future reference, since the whole theft of my articles keeps rearing its ugly head.

Thanks guys. He has been reported. We will see what happens. The problem is I believe we reported this guy a few months ago and google removed the page he copied. However, now he's doing it again and I hope google stops indexing his site for good if this keeps happening because it will be a pain the ass to have to submit complaints for every post he decides to copy.

I assume the phone # there is only the Registrar and not the Registrant.

The email address is likely the onyl way to contact the domain owner, and if he decides to ignore the email there isn't much you can do short of a court order.

The email address in question can not be fake and must be deliverable to a mailbox somewhere because if it isn't then an invalid whois report can and should be filed.

Be sure to send a DCMA form to his/her hosting company (SingleHop). The address to e-mail to is abuse @ singlehop[dot]com. They most likely will suspend his hosting service until the duplicate content is removed.

The guy that was stealing our articles took them down after we sent an email to him directly from his website "contact us" form and an email to his hosting company demanding a takedown with 24 hours or we were contacting our lawyer to take the matter to court. Sure enough, the situation was resolved when the guy emailed us back apologizing and saying he would remove all content within a few hours. He did.

He was actually a good guy about it so we gave him the benefit of the doubt and will hold him to his promise not to do it again. I will say he was lifting content from at least 4 websites on his site word for word.

Any time the email address is invalid, you can file a report with internic

Internic then files a report with the Registrar, and the Registrar by contract MUST follow-up with the domain owner to update their info.

If at that point the Registrar discovers that the email address is invalid, in most cases the Registrar may disable the domain since by policy the whois information MUST be accurate.
