Are there any Japanese affiliates here? Would be curious to know what CTR rates to expect.

How many clicks per one registration and deposit would be good from SEO traffic?

I have a Japanese casino website and would be great to connect with other affiliates.

As you may have guessed by my name, I'm Japanese, too.

Each of my website gets 3 or 4 registrations for 100 clicks.

As for deposit rate, I got 60 new users for Paizacasino, but only 6 users have actually deposited money...

I don't think this is a good rate.

Paizacasino requires id check before depositing money by credit card, which may deter uses from depositing.

On my site, the registration ratio last month was about 2%, but the first deposit was about 50%.


From the point of view of attracting customers, I feel that SNS activities are a great help.

Haru, I will give you my sincere and honest advice: you do not need to go anywhere. Just stick with your computer and work hard. Or go to onsen and relax and then work. It is IMHO much more productive than wasting time.

I can not say the conferences are useless, because I actually never went to one of them since 2006 when I made my first affiliate account. But that also means that I did not miss the conferences, right?

The bitter truth of this industry is that the affiliate programs want you to come to the conferences and give them traffic for cheap. E.g. they will promise you there everything and then they will deliver nothing. They waste money on marketing themselves, instead of just paying people.

So again, my advice is to sit by computer, do your research, stick with programs that have history of being honest. And get the traffic. You do not need more.

The industry common sense is, that as everywhere, no one wants to pay for anything more than it is needed. So it is cheaper to make a show for affiliates at the conferences than to pay them what they should.

If there are enough stupid affiliates who play this game, the the game will be played.

You are from the most honest culture of the world, so how deep this went is for you probably beyond imagination. People in gambling industry are generally thieves and tricking creatures. Industry common sense was already shown in Tobaku Mokushiroku Kaiji.

I think it´s good to go to events at least once a year to keep up with the industry and to connect. Of course not necessary and takes too much time and money to travel from other side of the world just for one event. But if you are traveling on a holiday then it´s good to visit an event on the same trip.

When you know how much your traffic is worth and when you only work with trustworthy casinos or affiliate programs you will be ok. I like to think that all people are trustworthy until proven otherwise But I try to find all the information possible about a company before I start working with them.

Each time we got back from a conference we were spinning like crazy with new shiny ideas and projects, SEO concepts and partnerships that we then poured countless hours into but can't recall any particular result from any of those. We would have been better off taking off a whole month and do nothing instead as it totally destroyed our focus each time.
IMO if you are new to this you don't need the influences of a conference.
