Do we need a webmaster?

Hi,

I'm sort of a newbie that has a little site about roulette strategies and betting systems and roulette player advice at Roulette Bet .
As I slowly try to enter the world of affiliates, my head starts to hurt.
Search for affiliate programs, chose the right ones, try to contact a representative, fill-in forms, await for approval, try to get your hands on some material etc etc...
To make things worse, there is the technical part about site development and maintenance. The different codes, the links and down the road the nightmare of geo-targeting.
How do you manage all this stuff? Do you have assistance? A webmaster? A virtual assistant? Please give some advice to an overwhelmed newbie.

Yes, I know my site is still small and produces no income yet. Hell, I don't even have put a link to a casino yet! But I already feel quite frustrated. So any help would be welcome.

Don't worry so much.You are off to a great start and I am convinced that your site will add value to both new and experienced Roulette players.

The first thing you need to do now is to find some good affiliate programmes and start adding affiliate links and banners. You have probably missed some good chances of getting customers into your programmes already.

Just start with a few casinos that you have tested and like yourself. It is way easier to promote a casino that you tried and tested yourself.

The great thing is, you start small and gradually build it up. You will not start making money right away (only a few do). It will take 3-9 months probably before your first depositing customer. Just hang in there, keep improving the site and you will get the results. And over time, you will start growing (that is a great feeling, I tell you).

I would try to add some high quality images (don't use the same ones everyone uses) on the home page to spruce things up a little bit.

Once you get all your links in place and have chosen the programs you are going to work with that is over and you can focus on building your website. It will get easier.

Personally when I started I knew NOTHING about web development and just learned through trial and error. Still today I do not know much about the server side and highly technical issues but that is where the GPWA comes in. If you get stuck just ask. No question is to simple. I think back on some of the questions I use to ask and kind of chuckle how easy they really were, but again I knew nothing and this forum helped tremendously!

It´s a long process until you know all about the business but it´s worth. Keep going and don´t think too much about all the work, just do it But of course you need someone that can write some codes. Try to find a partner that has knowledge of what you don´t know. You can do it all by yourself but this is not easy because there is so much work with e-mail deal negotiations brainstorming about new developements. You will be happy to have A GOOD partner that helps you.

You have a really good website, I would even say better than an average website about casino on the market atm.

The only thing I've noticed is that you need to somehow make a mobile version of your website, because Google now prioritizes the websites with good mobile version, if you don't have it, it will be hard to compete.

There is a mobile version, that is exclusive to mobile devices. The site is not responsive, but when viewed from mobile you see the mobile version, which admittedly has some navigation problems, but I think passes Google test for mobile.

Now, besides the lot of work that needs to be done in affiliation settings and content, the most important part that one has to endure is the wise and realistic words of Wolfie "It will take 3-9 months probably before your first depositing customer". I (we) need to stay motivated and keep going even if I don't see results soon.

Its Hard work being a Casino Affiliate I have all the respect in the world for all you guys but dont be shy to ask for help here or ask your affiliate programs everyone that wants to help will .. you'll have good times and bad but you need to stick in there.. I dont think you need a webmaster i feel you can manage this yourself just need to train yourself and educate yourself if not for this project for future ..GPWA is an Excellent forum for help

It kind of saddens me to see that the topic starter did little or nothing with our sound and extensive advice. I can't see any affiliate links or banners anywhere. It is a shame as the site looks great, has good content and will probably attract some nice and very targeted traffic.

I agree.. Good content.. So okay, where do I go to play? There is no clear direction as to where I might play roulette online..?

honestly I rolled my eyes when I saw another 'roulette strategy site' but your content is brilliant and well written like a roulette specific version of 'wizard of odds'
I think your site can do well with repeat and word of mouth visitors but you need to sell them on a casino. Signup to somewhere like Bet365 affiliates and add a few links like 'if you want to try this strategy try it at xxx'
