Do you do geographic customization based on IP address?

With increased regulation and limitations on which sites take players from different jurisdictions, it is increasingly the case that selecting the best sites for a player to consider depends on their geographic location.

This week's poll asks whether you customize the content delivered to your visitors based on their geographic location as indicated by their IP address.

I have created a list for each bookmaker with restricted countries. I have also a list for some countries with preferred bookmakers.
So when i get the location of a visitor I show him offers only from bookmakers available in his country, but first i show the preferred bookies in that country

I'd like to do more geo-location, but its one of those lower priority things. For now we simply use it for determining special things to show a few specific countries and exclusion of a couple jurisdictions.

I believe that proper geo-targeting is likely a great long-term investment and would improve the ROI of most anyone's affiliate site.

100% Yes. The geographic customization is the fundamental base of my affiliate business.

My traffic is mix traffic from many Jurisdictions. From Eastern Europe to Far East Asia, and from US to Israel. So this is absolutely impossible to work with this kind of traffic without geographic customization.

No, I’m not currently doing any IP address customization but plan to in the near future hopefully. It’s just something that I’ve never really given much thought or priority to and it hasn’t really been an issue for me.

I think geo targeting can be quite powerful as long as you have the insights for the countries/regions you target. I don't do it now as my websites are mostly targeting a single country, otherwise I'd consider implementing it.

This, easiest ROI anyone who currently isn't can implement. If you aren't doing at least some basic geotargeting, you are leaving money on the table. In the regulated US market in the near future, it's going to be impossible to make money without geotargeting most likely.
