I studied the terms pages https://1xbet.com/en/information/rules and I did not see a list of excluded countries directly (unless I missed them ).
You should have some direct contact and ask the management directly.

apart of 22bet/playamo (who were spinoff of 1xbet and have a better product and larger GEO so I recommend them as necessary complement to 1xbet, who are strong in Africa), no affiliate program provides decent info about GEO
studying the TOS/rules makes usually no sense, because there is usually an obsolete info
just study their creatives, study their website and language versions and that will provide you just a hint where to promote them
i repeat - just a hint
then you have to try to make test accounts, but that will not help you at all
the real challenge is not where they allow regs, but where they have decent banking options, because in many countries players can register but they are not provided decent deposit options and that will then make the difference
affiliate marketing is about understanding exactly those nuances, because the properly chosen geo can make a difference even 1:100, if for example for a players are typically offered common deposit methods vs. just crypto
it is an exhausting work that i do not do anymore as much as before, but the core of affiliate marketing is exactly this; bigger affiliates here have some advantage, because they have at least some base data for comparison

I used the perplexity AI to try and answer the question. -> https://www.perplexity.ai/
I asked ...
which countries are restricted from playing at 1xbet - please summarise and show sources of the information you collected.
It responded with
Here is a summary of countries restricted from playing at 1xBet, compiled from multiple reputable sources:
Key Restricted Countries
Based on up-to-date and cross-referenced information, players from the following countries are not allowed to register or place real money bets at 1xBet:
- United States
- United Kingdom
- Russia
- France
- Spain
- Ukraine
- Austria
- Belgium
- Bulgaria
- Croatia
- Cyprus
- Czech Republic
- Denmark
- Finland
- Germany
- Greece
- Hungary
- Italy
- Netherlands
- Poland
- Portugal
- Romania
- Slovakia
- Slovenia
- Sweden
- Iran
- Australia
- Saudi Arabia
- Iraq
- China
This list is not exhaustive but includes the most frequently cited restricted nations. Some other countries, especially in the Middle East and parts of Asia or Africa, may also prohibit access to 1xBet due to local laws against online gambling.
Details & Clarifications
- United Kingdom: 1xBet’s UK license was revoked in 2019 after regulatory investigations, so it cannot legally operate there.
- USA: 1xBet does not possess US gambling licenses, so access is blocked.
- Russia & Ukraine: 1xBet is banned; enforcement actions have been taken by authorities, but some access persists via mirror sites.
- Australia & China: Strict gambling regulations make 1xBet inaccessible.
- Middle Eastern countries: Nations such as Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Iraq have outright bans on online gambling, including sites like 1xBet.
- EU Countries: Although 1xBet is legal in some parts of Europe, it is restricted from countries with their own regulated markets (e.g., France, Spain, Portugal, etc.).
Official Policy
1xBet’s own terms and conditions further warn that if they become aware of a user residing in a prohibited country, they reserve the right to close the account and withhold any winnings.
Sources of Information
This summary combines regulatory news, gambling industry guides, investigative reporting, and 1xBet’s own published rules to ensure accuracy

I queried the sources ....
- Most were affiliate sites - but it included wikipedia and 1xbet in nigeria itself as well as five mid-sized affiliate sites that have tried to compile their own list.
As we all know - AI is not sentient or smart - but it's pretty good at pulling data from the web and compiling lists from it. Of course if the data is rubbish so will the final output be.
But the query above took 3 minutes - and I believe that it's a good start / summary of the situation as recorded by affiliates today.
Yeah, this is exactly where you do NOT want to use AI.
1xbet is from Russia or some USSR country so indeed it is their core market. I have separated account for Russia and CIS countries, it has only 15% rs, but I do not have much of that traffic so I keep it alive, made maybe 1M RUB lifetime so peanuts. But it is an important market for them along with Azerbaijan, Kazakhtsan and such countries. They especially do have trackers with RUB currency.
I am checking stats. I have players from Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq. Those are actually the countries where you want to promote them. One Iranian player is decent.
AI is absolutely useless when looking for niche information. It is missing Turkey on ban list. Turkey used to be huge at 1xbet, and I have 4 of 5 biggest players in 2025 from Turkey at 1xbet. But sadly they stopped taking that traffic or the blocks in Turkey are so effective now, that Turkey is the most important no-go for 1xbet. (This is why I count them ok, they pay for country from where they do not take regs anymore)
1xbet does also another geo tricks but I will not reveal it here, because one needs to figure it out for himself and knowing this in public might do them harm. It is really about work with your own data.

Hey thanks for this, always useful to hear from someone who actually has a relationship with the brand in question.
I am just confused a bit about the "Turkey is banned" part, because it is still possible to register for them using a VPN with the country set to Turkey (confirmed today). It even displays some well-known Turkish banks as payment methods after registering.
I know its a Curacao brand so generally considered weak, but I didn't think it could be to this extent - to let players register and deposit from countries on their banned list.
And ofc, their T&C/ToS doesn't give an exact list of restricted countries (like MGA-licensed brands usually give), and they even mention that "The fact that our Website is available in such a country and/or jurisdiction or that it can be displayed in the official language of any of those countries cannot be considered official authorization or legal grounds for using our Website and depositing funds into your account or withdrawing your winnings.".
So they're saying, we are offering our website in TR, but that doesn't mean it is available in TR.

I might be mistaken as well, thanks for that. I will investigate the Turkey. Sadly my current 1xbet reps are not good.
But keep in mind that testing ANYTHING from VPN tells you nothing about geo. Testing something from VPN will just tell you whether the site works from VPN. This was more than accelerated after AI boom, when even more webmasters were forced to really look at the traffic and block it.
In Turkey there is also another problem, where ISPs must block a lot of websites and they started with that long time ago, so I assume they are a bit advanced. When countries block websites, the ISPs block the end users. But the blocks on server sides are a different thing and genearlly not that much enforced. You need some other service like Luminati with the advanced and costly plans, to be closer to reality, when you check websites.
I am allergic to "VPN", most of my time I need to respond the the stupidities of affiliate managers who complain in the most inappropriate times like "Hey, I checked VPN and you do not promote us in country XY". Yes, you ******. Because we block VPNs for a decade. (Like you or your affiliate program blocks it too; without you knowing that).
