Does seo management actually Work for Gambling affilates web sites

I need to get my affilate site going.I need to know if a seo manager can help me.Im willing to pay for quality targeted traffic.Is this the right way to go?

you'll need to research who you want to work with mate, lots, there are loads of cowboys out there that offer the world and most times leave you in a worse spot

Personally I would never outsource SEO. In the post-penguin era I'm afraid that 3rd party services could easily do more harm than good, albeit unwittingly. It's something that is well worth learning yourself in my opinion.

I agree with @betmark. There are a lot of offers out there that look great and may get a good result for a week but will hurt your website long term. I would start doing some research on SEO/ SEM and take your time. There is a lot of great information in the SEO section here as welll as the Social Networking Section which should be able to help you out. No need to hire a SEO person mate. Do not spend your money. And there is a probability of being penalized by Google because you can not control the link buyings from the sites...

- Write all fresh (unique) and usefull content each and every day...
- Make people link to your site rather than buying links to your site.
- Be active in the forums for information exchange and organic promotion of your site..

I think hiring a professional to make more money makes sense. You can pay the SEO manager after you get the desired results and targeted audience.

Take caution when listening to seo 'experts'. I took advice once and changed some html and got completely knocked out of google several years ago. I never read another word from seo threads again.

And to mitigate risk - i recommend staying away form certain geographical areas that are hot spots for SEO scams - such as India.

Do both, learn and hire.

But, don't hire until you're big enough to drop a few grand. Otherwise you're likely to get a clown who doesn't know what they're doing. Or get mugged off.

A good trick is hiring freelancers from reputable agencies. So, look to the sort of agencies that wouldn't work for less than £4k/month and then pick a member of their staff and approach them for a freelance project.

That way you may actually get someone who knows what they're doing, but is too scared of getting in trouble if things go tits up to screw you over.

That doesn't mean approach the agency 1st. But, you can find better freelancers that way than the ones you get by outsourcing to a spam hotspot.

And in most cases you'll get the work done to that agencies standard for half of the price because there are no overheads. In many cases you may even pay half and get more.
