In my opinion I think it really depends on what your real target is and what you niche really is.

For example for online casinos it is important to write latest trends on say personalities who have something to do with the casino. Say someone won a lot of money and is also famous or cryptos theses days BTC associated with the online casinos. But perhaps the online casino review websites would get the most conversions for people

If it is something like the FINTECH industry then trading strategies like GBP/JPY strategy and a short post on a FaceBook page would do potentially better for a Financial Trading or Prop Trading or Algo Trading companies

    In my opinion

Absolutely, social medias help social signal which create trusted in your website/brand

for example, your brand might get more search on Google because of social media

and when your branded keywords get more search, others related keywords with your brand also get easier ranking.

Find that useful for some LATAM markets, where normal link building seems to suck

whether it is or no I would just push something minimal to cover it, unless obviously it's a more important part of your general strategy for traffic.

I have gotten a few referrals through social media but I have not used it that much. For me its basically just getting the most out of my time as possible and I feel my time is better spent elsewhere.

Everything works together in the digital marketing umbrella, and it very much depends on what you're trying to achieve. There are so many ranking factors to consider with SEO, but trust is becoming one of the highest. Being linked to a SM account with strong presence and following certainly won't hurt, but it's worth remembering that the goal for each is different.

Yes, social media can indirectly help in SEO by increasing brand awareness, driving website traffic, and generating backlinks. The more people engage with your content on social media, the more likely it is to be shared and linked to from other websites, which can improve your search engine rankings. However, social media activity itself is not a direct ranking factor for search engines. It's important to focus on creating high-quality content and building a strong online presence across multiple platforms to support your SEO efforts.

I believe helps with overall branding. If you as a webmaster have a social media page, it should help with EAT (especially if the social media and website is connected to a company). If not, it most definatly doesnt hurt. So, website with no social media channels vs. one that does have social media channels? I think the favour would go to the one with social medial.

How do you deal with the limitations of social networks regarding betting websites? For example, in the past I had Facebook pages blocked because the topic was not allowed by the platform. I'm not sure about policies of Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok, etc. I know Telegram is fine with anything. Can someone summarize the strategy you use, and whether you have any problems advertising this kind of product?

Social signals (in bulk) give you a boost. Yes they do indirectly effect your serps. A like ,pin or share is a link whether it is no-follow or do-follow. Recently, TikTok and instagram have given me the most traffic out of all social sites directly but it is not quality traffic opposed to 'real money gambling' keywords.

Social media can indirectly impact SEO (Search Engine Optimization) by increasing a website's visibility and driving traffic to it. When a website receives more traffic, it signals to search engines that the website is valuable and relevant, which can lead to higher search engine rankings.
Social media can also help to build backlinks to a website, which are links from other websites that direct to the site. Backlinks are an essential part of SEO, and search engines use them to determine a website's authority and relevance. By sharing content on social media platforms, it can increase the likelihood of others sharing or linking to that content, creating more backlinks to the website.
Furthermore, social media profiles and pages can also rank in search engine results. By optimizing social media profiles with relevant keywords, businesses and websites can increase their visibility and improve their overall online presence.
Overall, social media can be a valuable tool to support SEO efforts, as it can increase website traffic, create backlinks, and improve online visibility. However, it's important to note that social media activity alone is not a direct ranking factor in search engines, and it's just one of many factors that can contribute to a website's SEO success.

Taking the above in isolation, and hence potentially out of context, although the comment seems to imply an association with social media rather than general traffic levels...

There might be an obvious answer to this question...but I don't know what it is...so I'll ask it anyway...

How does a search engine know that a webpage (or collectively a site) is getting traffic from sources (ie social media or others) that aren't coming through the SE itself?

Unless we're talking about via SERPs positions for the social media instances of the brand/website.

Chrome as well as logging referrer.
You have followed the demand that you have to have analytics code on your site which also helps the referrer tables in the database right?
