Duplicate Poker - Termination of activity
Looks like Duplicate Poker is gone...
Dear Affiliate,
Duplicate Poker is sadly bidding farewell to its players and affiliates.
Caught in the middle of the global financial situation the company is not
able to continue to provide service.
Regretfully as of the today, October 5, 2008 we are closing our service. We
thank our affiliates and players for being with us. Hopefully at later time
and in a better economic climate Duplicate Poker will reappear.
The company is appointing a US-Trustee who will handle any liabilities.
We expect this process to be completed within next 10 days. Please visit our
web site www.duplicatepoker.com after October 15 to obtain instructions as
to submittals of claims.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns:

A real pity. I was just reading up on your product and it looked like a great format!
Best wishes for the future though.

With Lasseters Casino the other day and Duplicate Poker now, who's next!

I don't know how many poker players were going to adopt the idea of duplicate poker. Personally, I found it intriguing, but the few times I played there, I found that there weren't really enough players there to sustain a workable game. And if there were going to be a lot of players, it may have made the game unbearably slow, as you are always waiting on people from other tables to make a decision, since each part of the hand has to be dealt simultaneously at every table.

Duplicate used to convert fairly well for me because they could accept all major U.S credit cards. It's a shame that not enough people were playing on their network.
Personally I have never tried it out. But I watched the demo
